Guwahati, Aug. 18 : Holders NF Railway continued their unbeaten run in the Abhishek Motors RG Baruah Trophy Guwahati Super League football tournament, handing a solitary goal defeat to Green Valley Sports Club in their match today at Nehru Stadium here.
In a contesting affair that went goalless almost throughout the regulation time, Sibra Narzary fired in the all-important goal witha left footer off a Chayaram Basumatary pass from inside the box in the 84th minute.
The Green Valley men were in command of the first session and got a couple of scoring opportunities, but goals eluded the side.
Nigerian recruit Michel Lucky Kelechukwe got the first opportunity when he received a pass from Laldeniela inside the box in the 20th minute.
He, however, squandered it by placing it wrongly.

Seven passengers travelling by the Ajmer-Ernakulam Marusagar Express who complained of uneasiness after consuming food on the train were treated at the General Hospital and Malik Dinar Hospital here on Saturday night. The passengers showed symptoms of food poisoning, hypertension, and low pulse rate, said a senior Railway official. The train reached Kasaragod station at 11.02 p.m.On being alerted from Mangalore about the commotion on the train, Railway officials had requisitioned the services of a team of physicians and paramedical staff from the hospitals. The District Medical Officer and the Railway Divisional Medical Officer from Mangalore, who reached here by the same train, and his counterpart from Kannur supervised the medical treatment.Three ambulances from the hospitals and the Fire and Rescue Services and police personnel were requisitioned at the station by 10 p.m., an hour ahead of the arrival of the train that reached here after halting at Mangalore Junction, to facilitate treatment to the affected persons.The seven affected passengers, including Mohammed Kutty (35), Mohammed Ali (35), both hailing from Perinthalmanna, and Abu Baker (64) from Mannarcaud, were admitted to the General Hospital and Malik Dinar Hospital. They were discharged by 3 a.m. and could continue their onward journey on the Ernakulam-bound Mangala Express from Delhi at 3.30 a.m., he said.

A few other affected passengers, in S-11 and S-12 coaches of the train, were administered first aid at the railway station. The train was allowed special stoppages at Kanhangad, Tanur, Pattambi as requested by the affected passengers, they said.

The passengers complained about the “rude” behaviour of the pantry car manager.

Piyush Aggarwal, Divisional Railway Manager, Palakkad, had promised to take up the matter with the Railway Ministry, he said.

अंतिम सोमवारी के दिन बिहार के खगड़िया जिले में राजरानी एक्सप्रेस से कटकर 40 से ज्यादा लोगों की मौत हो गयी और करीब दो दर्जन घायल हो गये। गुस्साये लोगों ने दो ट्रेनों में आग लगा दी और रेलवकर्मियों को बंधक बना लिया। हादसा सुबह साढ़े सात बजे की है। हादसा सहरसा-मानसी रेल खंड पर हुआ। राहत टीम कोपरिया सटेशन पर ही ठहरी हुई है। लोगों के गुस्से की खबरों के चलते राहतकर्मियों को आगे बढ़ने में मुश्किल हो रही है।

बताया जाता है कि खगड़िया जिले के धमारा घाट के पास हुई घटना के बाद अफरा-तफरी मच गयी। राजरानी एक्सप्रेस सहरसा स्टेशन से खुलकर पटना आने वाली थी। धमारा घाट स्टेशन के पास ही कात्यायनी शक्तिपीठ धाम है। अंतिम सोमवारी पर मंदिर में मेले का आयोजन किया गया था। लोग शिव पर जल चढ़ाने के लिए वहां बड़ी संख्या में जुटते हैं।

पहले से ही धमारा घाट के अप और डाउन ट्रैक पर दो पैसेंजर ट्रेनें खड़ी थी। लूप लाइन से राजरानी को निकाला जा रहा था। राजरानी का वहां ठहराव नहीं था। बताया जाता है कि लोगों ने राजरानी को रोकने की कोशिश की। मरने वालों में सभी कांवरिया बताये जाते हैं तो शिव मंदिर में जल चढ़ाने के लिए जाने वाले थे।
धमारा घाट तक पहुंचने के लिए कोई सड़क नहीं है। एडीजी लॉ एंड आर्डर एसके भारद्वाज ने बताया कि बचाव व राहतकर्मियों को मौके तक पहुंचने में तीन किलोमीटर से ज्यादा पैदल चलना पड़ेगा। इस बीच समस्तीपुर के डीआरएम ने हादसे में 15 मौतों की पुष्टि की है।

हादसे के बाद गुस्साये लोगों ने तीन ट्रेनों के कर्मियों को बंधक बना लिया। एक अपुष्ट खबर के अनुसार लोगों ने राजरानी एक्सप्रेस के ड्राइवर को पीट-पीट कर मार डाला और दूसरे कर्मियों का कुछ पता नहीं चल पा रहा है। एसके भारद्वाज ने बताया कि लोग गुस्से में हैं और स्थिति गंभीर बनी हुई है। लोगों ने कई डिब्बों में आग लगा दी। हालत तनावपूर्ण बना हुआ है। मौके पर अगल-बगल के हजारों लोग जुट गये हैं। वे सरकार के खिलाफ नारेबाजी कर रहे हैं।

इस बीच, मुख्यमंत्री नीतीश कुमार ने रेलवे बोर्ड के चेयरमैन से बात की। खगड़िया के डीएम और एसपी से उन्होंने फोन पर हालात का जायजा लिया। रेलवे के अधिकारी मौके पर जाने में हिचक रहे हैं क्योकि लोग बेहद नाराज हैं।

बिलासपुर। जोन के चीफ कमर्शियल मैनेजर (सीसीएम) की योजना पर अमल किया गया तो आने वाले समय में रिजर्वेशन काउंटर रविवार को भी रात 10 बजे तक खुले रहेंगे। सीसीएम ने सभी डिवीजन के सीनियर डीसीएम को नई व्यवस्था लागू करने की तैयारी के निर्देश दिए हैं। यह व्यवस्था पायलट प्रोजेक्ट के तौर पर जोन के 6 रेलवे स्टेशन में लागू होगी।
चीफ कमर्शियल मैनेजर प्रकाश राव वाजलवार ने शनिवार को बिलासपुर, रायपुर और नागपुर डिवीजन के सीनियर डीसीएम सहित कमर्शियल इंस्पेक्टरों की बैठक ली। बैठक में आय बढ़ाने पर चर्चा हुई। आम लोगों से जुड़े मसले की बात करें तो सीसीएम ने रिजर्वेशन का समय बढ़ाने का प्रस्ताव रखा। उन्होंने मौजूद अफसरों को बताया कि सेंट्रल रेलवे में रविवार को सेकेंड हाफ में रिजर्वेशन काउंटर खोला जा रहा है और इसका अच्छे परिणाम भी आए हैं। उन्होंने डिवीजन के अफसरों को निर्देशित किया है कि वे चुनिंदा स्टेशनों में ऐसी सुविधा देने की योजना पर काम करें। गौरतलब है कि वर्तमान में रविवार को रिजर्वेशन काउंटर दोपहर 2 बजे तक ही खुले रहते हैं। सीसीएम की योजना पर अमल हुआ तो इस दिन भी रात 10 बजे तक रिजर्वेशन हो सकेगा।
6 स्टेशनों में मिलेगी सुविधा:रविवार को सेकेंड टाइम में भी रिजर्वेशन काउंटर खुला रखने पर अमल किया गया तो यह सुविधा जोन के 6 स्टेशनों में सबसे पहले लागू होगी। दरअसल ये वो स्टेशन हैं, जहां पायलट प्रोजेक्ट के तौर पर रात 10 बजे तक रिजर्वेशन की सुविधा दी गई है। इस सूची में बिलासपुर डिवीजन के बिलासपुर, रायगढ़, रायपुर डिवीजन के रायपुर, दुर्ग और नागपुर डिवीजन के गोंदिया, इतवारी स्टेशन शामिल हैं। रात 10 बजे तक रिजर्वेशन की सुविधा भी सीसीएम के निर्देश पर मिली है।
थंब मशीन पकड़ेगी टीटीई की चालाकी
सीसीएम को इस बात की शिकायत मिली थी कि टीटीई रिकार्ड में उपस्थिति तो दर्ज करते हैं, लेकिन लाइन ड्यूटी पर जाते ही नहीं। ऐसी गड़बडिय़ों पर रोक लगाने के लिए रेलवे स्टेशनों में थंब इंप्रेशन मशीन लगाने की योजना है। पहले चरण में रायपुर, दुर्ग, बिलासपुर, रायगढ़ और गोंदिया स्टेशन में मशीन लगाए जाएंगे। इसका फायदा यह होगा कि टीटीई ड्यूटी ऑन होने वाले स्टेशन के अलावा डयूटी खत्म होने वाले स्टेशन में भी थंब मशीन का उपयोग करेंगे। इससे साबित होगा कि संबंधित टीटीई लाइन ड्यूटी पर रहा या नहीं।

SCR to Run 8 Special Trains between Kacheguda and Mangalore

In order to clear extra rush of passengers, South Central Railway will run 8 Special Trains between Kacheguda and Mangalore as per the following schedule:-

Train No.07606 Kacheguda-Mangalore Special Train will depart Kacheguda at  06 00 hrs o­n Tuesdays ie., on 3rd, 10th, 17thand 24th September, 2013  and arrive  Mangalore at 11 20 hrs o­n the next day.

In the return direction, Train No. 07605 Mangalore-Kachiguda Special Train will depart Mangalore at 20 00 hrs on Wednesday ie., o­n 4th, 11th, 18th and 25thSeptember, 2013 and arrive Kacheguda at 03 40 hrs o­n Fridays.

Enroute, these special trains will stop at Jadcherla, Mahbubnagar, Gadwal, Kurnool City, Dhone, Gooty, Yerraguntla, Cuddapah, Rajampeta, Renigunta, Katpadi, Jolarpettai, Salem, Erode, Tiruppur, Coimbatore, Palakkad, Shoranur, Tirur, Kozhikode, Vadakara, Thalassery, Kannur, Payyanur, Kanhangad and Kasaragod Stations in both directions. These special trains will consist of 18 Coaches viz., o­ne AC II Tier, two AC III Tier, seven Sleeper Class, six General Second Class and two Luggage Cum Brake Van Coaches.

जबलपुर. दो बेरोजगार युवकों को रेल विभाग में नौकरी का झाँसा दिला उनसे ढाई लाख रुपये हड़पने के बाद जबलपुर केंद्रीय रेल चिकित्सालय पहुँच पीरियाडिकल मेडिकल टेस्ट कराने आए भोपाल रेल मंडल के संरक्षा विभाग में पदस्थ प्यून को विजिलेंस टीम ने पकड़ते हुए इस फर्जी वाडे का खुलासा तो किया था. लेकिन विजिलेंस ने यह सोचा भी नही होगा की. जाँच उपरांत उसे कई राज और मिल सकते है. लेकिन उक्त रेल कर्मचारी को विजिलेंस ने सिविल लाइन पुलिस के हवाले कर दिया था. जहाँ से उसे न्यायालय में पेश किया गया था. न्यायालय के आदेश पर उक्त कर्मेे जेल की सलाखों के पीछॆ पहुँच गया.
विजिलेंस ने खंगाला रिकार्ड, हांथ आया शून्य - उक्त रेल कर्मी को पुलिस के हवाले करने के बाद विजिलेंस टीम के सदस्यों ने गुप्त रुप से भोपाल स्थित उक्त कर्मी के कार्यालय में दबिश दी. लेकिन इस दौरान टीम को यह मालूम पड़ा कि कर्मी काफी दिनों से ड्यूटी से नदारद है. इस दौरान विजिलेंस को कोई ख़ास जानकारी हांथ नही आई.
कर्मी के छूटने की प्रतीक्षा में - विजिलेंस के करीबी सूत्रों के मुताबिक अब विजिलेंस की नजर जेल में बंद प्यून ओम प्रकाश नरवरिया पर है. जैसे ही नरवरिया जेल से जमानत पर बाहर आयेगा. वैसे ही विजिलेंस टीम अन्य संबंध में उससे पूछताछ कर सकती है. और विजिलेंस इस भरोसे पर है. कि पूछताछ के दौरान कई फर्जी वाडे का खुलासा हो सकता है.
ठगे गए युवक काट रहे विजिलेंस के चक्कर - नौकरी के नाम पर अपनी पूँजी गँवा चुके दोनों बेरोजगार युवक उदयपुरा भोपाल के नांदेश्वर चौकसे और घनश्याम अब इस आस पर विजिलेंस के कर्मचारियों के चक्कर काट रहे है कि उन्हें टीम के सदस्यों ने सच्चाई सामने लाने पर रुपये वापिस दिलाने का आश्वासन दिया था. लेकिन सच्चाई सामने आ जाने के बाद विजिलेंस टीम के सदस्य अब इनसे आँखें तक नही मिला रहे है.

गोरखपुर से भारतीय जनता पार्टी के सांसद योगी आदित्यनाथ को आज तड़के यहां कुशीनगर एक्सप्रेस ट्रेन से उस समय उतार लिया गया जब वह झांसी स्थित महाकालेश्वर मंदिर में महाजलाभिषेक कार्यक्रम में भाग लेने जा रहे थे. सांसद योगी को पड़ोसी जिले उन्नाव के पक्षी विहार स्थित गेस्ट हाउस में रखा गया जहां से यह सूचना मिली कि वह कुछ घंटे बाद दिल्ली चले गये. कानपुर पुलिस ने ऐहतियातन हिरासत के रुप में यह कार्रवाई झांसी जिला प्रशासन के कहने पर की.
बाबूपुरवा पुलिस थाने के क्षेत्रधिकारी और सांसद योगी को ट्रेन से उतारने वाले डीएसपी पवित्र मोहन त्रिपाठी ने बताया कि झांसी स्थित महाकालेश्वर मंदिर में महाजलाभिषेक का कार्यक्रम है जिसके तहत वहां धारा 144 लगी हुई है. झांसी के जिला प्रशासन को सूचना थी कि सांसद योगी आदित्यनाथ इस कार्यक्रम में भाग लेने पहुंच रहे हैं. इससे वहां माहौल बिगड़ने की आशंका थी, इसलिये झांसी प्रशासन ने योगी को कानपुर में ही ट्रेन से उतार कर झांसी न जाने देने के लिये कानपुर पुलिस से कहा था. उन्होंने बताया कि कुशीनगर एक्सप्रेस कानपुर के सेन्ट्रल रेलवे स्टेशन पर तड़के दो बजकर बीस मिनट पर आती है. कानपुर पुलिस और प्रशासन के तमाम अधिकारी रात 12 बजे के बाद से ही स्टेशन पर जम गये थे. जैसे ही ट्रेन आयी, उसके ए वन कोच में योगी के होने की बात बताई गयी. पुलिस अधिकारी उस डिब्बे में चढ़े और योगी को उनके सहयोगियों के साथ उतार लिया गया. सांसद योगी ने इसका कोई विरोध नहीं किया.
त्रिपाठी ने बताया कि सेन्ट्रल रेलवे स्टेशन के प्लेटफार्म नंबर चार पर कुशीनगर एक्सप्रेस से उतारने के बाद सांसद योगी और उनके सहयोगियों को पुलिस की विशेष सुरक्षा में यहां से करीब 60 किलोमीटर दूर उन्नाव जिले के नवाबगंज पक्षी विहार के गेस्ट हाउस में आज सुबह करीब चार बजे पहुंचाया गया. उन्होंने कहा कि सांसद योगी और उनके चार साथियों को गिरफ्तार नहीं, बल्कि ऐहतियातन हिरासत में लेकर झांसी जाने से रोका गया.
उन्होंने बताया कि अभी खबर मिली है कि सांसद योगी दिल्ली रवाना हो गये हैं. क्योंकि वह गिरफ्तार नहीं थे, इसलिये उन्हें दिल्ली जाने से नहीं रोका गया. उधर, सांसद योगी आदित्यनाथ को स्टेशन पर उतारने और झांसी जाने से रोकने की घटना से शहर के भाजपा नेताओं और कार्यकर्ताओं में काफी रोष है.

At least 20 people were killed on Monday after speeding Rajyarani Express ran over a large number of ‘kanwarias’ at Dhamara Ghat Station in Khagaria district, triggering angry protests by locals who attacked the train driver and set afire its coach besides engine of another train.However, other agencies quote different toll figures. The exact toll figure is yet to be ascertained.The victims, mostly kanwarias (devotees of Lord Shiva) had got down from another train and were walking on the tracks when the mishap took place, official sources said. The devotees were on way to a Shiva temple.At least 20 of them died on the spot after being run over by the speeding train, they said, adding that the number of injured people has not yet been confirmed.“The death toll has mounted to 20 even as the number of casualties is likely to go up further,” Superintendent of Police (SP) S K Jha said over phone.Soon after the incident, locals gathered at the spot and attacked the driver of the train, leaving him seriously injured, railway sources said.Mr. Jha said the engine of the Samastipur-Saharsa passenger train and an AC coach of Saharsa-Patna Rajyarani Express were set ablaze by angry locals gathered at the station under Samastipur division of East-Central Railway (ECR).Chairman Railway Board Arunendra Kumar said the train was attacked and the driver was hurt.

He said it was a case of “trespassing” as the devotees were illegally trying to cross the tracks.

However, he refused to confirm any casualties.

The agitation at the station has created obstacles in the way of carrying out rescue operations.

Unless the protesters vacate the site of the accident, it would be difficult for the railway and district authorities to carry out rescue work, railway officials said.

ECR Chief Public Relations Officer (CPRO) Amitabh Prabhakar said railway authorities spoke to the District Magistrate and the Superintendent of Police to provide police reinforcement so that medical aid could be rushed to injured persons before taking them to hospitals.

Dhamara Ghat station where the accident took place falls in between Saharsa-Mansi section of Samastipur division.

Train services have been suspended on Saharsa-Mansi section of ECR after the incident and several trains have been halted at various destinations, railway sources said.

An inter-State racket involved in theft of aluminium powder of NALCO from railway wagons was busted in Rayagada district.According to Rayagada Sub-Divisional Police Officer Y. Jagananth Rao, the racket has its links with adjoining Andhra Pradesh. As per initial investigation, the members, who were involved in stealing aluminium powder from railway wagons, were suspected to be sending it to adjoining Andhra Pradesh.The Rayagada district police arrested 15 persons involved in the racket in the wee hours of Saturday. They were nabbed while they were involved in taking away aluminium powder from railway wagons of a goods train that stopped near Lada station at a distance of around eight km from Raygada town. All the 15 persons arrested by the police were from Jamadeipentha village.Police seized 800 bags of aluminium powder which was stolen from the railway wagons. Six-hundred bags of stolen aluminium powder were hidden in bushes near the railway track, while the rest was loaded up on a truck to be transported outside.One truck, a pickup van, a cargo carrying autorickshaw and two motorbikes which were being used for the operation were seized.Mr. Rao said it was suspected that more people were involved in the racket. Investigation is on to track down the receiver of the large quantity of aluminium powder.

According to the police, the aluminium powder, which was targeted by the gang had been produced in the plant of NALCO at Damanjodi in Koraput district. This aluminium powder is sent to the NALCO’s unit in Angul and a portion of it is also exported.

For it, this aluminium powder is transported by railway wagons.

The Rayagada police have arrested 15 persons near Lada station in the wee hours of Saturday
