Indian Railway is unable to curb out chain pulling incidents especially in Allahabad division which is one of the busiest, handling over 300 trains daily. There are more than 1000 chain pulling incidents which accounts to atleast 34 per day. Railway though revealed that most chain pulling incidents takes place between Allahabad and Mirzapur. This section includes Manda, Meja, Jigna etc. stations which account maximum number of chain pulling incidents. Apart from this division tundla-hathras-aligarh-khurja-dadri section also face the same chain pulling problem. |

Indian Railways is seriously struggling to maintain punctuality of trains. In a data revealed by runningstatus.in – last week average delay time for trains that run between Gorakhpur and New Delhi daily is 110minutes. This does not even under trunk routes or main routes where railway traffic is high. There are total seven trains that run between Gorakhpur and New Delhi daily-
The combined late arrival average of all these trains at New Delhi railway station is 110 minutes. The fun factor about these trains are – out of these 7 trains 4 are superfast with minimal stoppages yet they are unable to reach on time. Its Amritsar-Katihar that successfully completed its journey on just two occasions in a week while Gorakdham only at one time. It shows the horrific state of Indian Railways that is only keen to add special trains as per the crowd but when it comes to punctuality you should not try to mention it. |

भरतिया रेल अपनी ट्रेनों की गति बढाने के कितने भी प्रयास कर ले पर लगता नहीं की उसकी गति हाल फिलहाल में बढ़ने वाली है| रेलवे ने खुद ही स्वीकारा है की उनकी गति पिछले पांच वर्ष में धीमे ही हुई है ना की बढ़ी है| कुछ रुट्स पर बस अधिकतम गति बढ़ी है पर औसत गति धीमी हुई है|runningstatus.in ने अपने डाटा में पाया की गोरखपुर से रोजाना दिल्ली जाने वाली गाड़ियां पिछली हफ्ते औसतन 110 मिनट लेट रही हैं | हाल तो ये है की सिर्फ एक ट्रैन दो बार और एक ट्रैन एक बार समय पर पहुँच पाई| जबकि साप्ताहिक ट्रेनों का हाल और भी बुरा है| अगर आप साप्ताहिक चलने वाली पूरी वातानुकूलित ट्रैन ये सोचकर लेते हैं की वो तो सही समय पर पहुंचेगी तो आपको और भी निराशा होगी क्योंकि पिछले हफ्ते वो चार घंटे पच्चीस मिनट के विलम्ब से पहुंची थी|ये डाटा प्रातिदिन चलने वाली गाड़ियों का लिया गया जिसमे - कुलमिलाकर 7 गाड़ियां प्रतिदिन जाती हैं और जिनमे टिकेट मिल पाना अत्यधिक कठिन होता है| ये गाड़ियां हैं - 15707 अमृतसर-कटिहार एक्सप्रेस15273 सत्याग्रह एक्सप्रेस12565 बिहार संपर्क क्रान्ति एक्सप्रेस12553 वैशाली एक्सप्रेस12555 गोरखधाम एक्सप्रेस12557 सप्त क्रांति एक्सप्रेस15909 अवध असम एक्सप्रेस इनमे से आम्रपाली एक्सप्रेस पिछले हफ्ते दो बार अपने समय पर पहुंची है और गोरखधाम एक बार| बाकी कोई भी ट्रेन समय पर एक बार भी नहीं पहुँच पाई है| मजे की बात ये है की 7 में से 4 गाड़ियां सुपरफास्ट हैं जिनके ठहराव न्यूनतम हैं| इन गाड़ियों के अलावा अलग अलग दिन पे चलने वाली कुल 15 गाड़ियां और हैं जिसमे 22411 नाहरलागुन ऐसी एक्सप्रेस भी शामिल है जो सिर्फ मंगलवार को जाती है वो साढ़े चार घंटे लेट थी|पर्व की इस समय जब स्पेशल ट्रेनों की संख्या बढ़ती जा रही है, रेलवे से यात्रा समय पर समाप्त हो जाए, ये और कठिन होता जा रहा है| |

छमता से अधिक ट्रेनों के सन्चालन से भारतीय रेलवे को समय बध्ध तरीके से ट्रेनों का परिचालन करने में काफी परेशानियां आ रही हैं| ये परेशानी दिल्ली-हावड़ा रूट पर सबसे ज्यादा है क्योंकि ये पहले से ही बहुत व्यस्त रूट था और स्पेशल ट्रेओँ की संख्या दिन पर दिन बढ़ाने से इसकी आधिकारिक संरचना को बदलना पड़ रहा है| |

Madurai Railway division is going under maintenance between Madurai and Virudhunagar section till November 11. This will affect many trains as either they will run behind their schedule or will be diverted on another route. 56319 - Nagercoil – Coimbatore passenger will run atleast 57 minutes behind schedule of 4:07pm at Dindigul railway station. Similarly, 56320 will be delayed by atleast 44 minutes between and upto Coimbatore reaching Tirunelveli behind its schedule time of 7:09PM. |

To cash in on weekly festival rush Railway has decided to introduce special trains on special charges. To clear the extra rush between Yesvantpur and Pandhanrpur – 06541 will leave Yesvantpur at 18:00 hrs every Thursday from 13/10/2016 to 24/1/2016. This train will arrive Pandharpur at 11.35 hrs next day. The train from Pandharpur will run every Friday at 13:35 hrs from 14/10/2016 to 25/11/2016 and will reach Yesvantpur at 06:20hrs next day. |

भोपाल के पास एक पैसेंजर ट्रैन का बड़ा हादसा होने से बच गया जब ड्राइवर को झपकी आ गयी और और ट्रेन लूप लाइन पे जाकर बैरियर से टकराकर रुकी| |

Indian Railway took on the project Raftaar to enhance speed off trains which they officially announced that it is working but in a candid admission railways has accepted that operating average speed of railways is dropped by 1kmph for passenger trains and 2kmph for freight trains in last five years. This means that passenger trains as of now is operating at 45kmph while freight at horrible 24kmph. Such figures make Indian Railways one of the slowest in the world which is kind of shameful. Although, railways has successfully achieved better top speeds – 130kmph to 160kmph for passenger trains and 75kmph to 100kmph for freight trains, but top speed never indicates efficiency of service as mentioned by railways itself. Railway blame such dismal operation to overcrowding of tracks especially on main operating routes. Railway also mentions that they are under so much pressure to mobilize as much as crowd possible due to which a whopping 70,000 special trains were added in last two years. Apart from this during this period railway has added 308 trains and 1,610 coaches permanently to various trains. Frequency of various trains are also increased to ferry more and more passengers possible. A railway official quotes – to carry such large crowd on a daily basis infrastructure should also be improved which in reality has gone up with a very slow rate. Currently there are 13000 trains with 60,000 coaches and 10,000 locomotives that runs on a daily basis which is humongous as per our current infrastructure. It is sad that we are unable to touch international speeds and it seems a far cry in near future too. |
