कोल्हापूर : जिल्ह्याच्या ग्रामीण भागातही आता संग्राम (संगणकीय ग्रामीण महाराष्ट्र) कक्षाच्या मदतीने रेल्वे आरक्षण करणे शक्य होणार आहे. जिल्हा परिषदेने रेल्वे विभागाला याबाबत प्रस्ताव पाठविला होता. हा प्रस्ताव मान्य करण्यात आला आहे. इंटरनेट उपलब्ध असलेल्या ठिकाणी रेल्वे आरक्षण केंद्र सुरू करण्यास परवानगी दिली आहे. त्यानुसार जिल्ह्यांतील ८१ ठिकाणी ही सेवा सुरू करण्याचा प्रस्ताव आहे. राज्यातील हा पहिला प्रयोग असल्याचे मुख्य कार्यकारी अधिकारी डॉ. विजय सूर्यवंशी यांनी सांगितले.

जिल्हा परिषदेची ही केंद्रे प्रत्यक्षात सुरू होण्यासाठी काही कालावधी लागणार आहे. त्यासाठी राज्य सरकारच्या नियमांची औपचारिता पूर्ण करावी लागणार आहे. सध्या या कक्षाच्या माध्यमातून १२ वेगवेगळ्या प्रकारचे दाखले दिले जातात. त्यात डोम‌िसाईल , उत्पन्न दाखला आणि सातबारा उताऱ्याचा समावेश आहे. रेल्वे बुकिंगची व्यवस्था झाल्यामुळे या कक्षातील सुविधांचा जास्तीत जास्त लाभ घेता येणार आहे.
सध्या जिल्हा परिषदेला रिझर्व्हेशन सुरू करण्यासाठी राज्य सरकारच्या परवानगीची प्रतीक्षा आहे. ही परवानगी मिळाल्यानंतर जिल्हा परिषद राज्य एसटी महामंडळाशीही संपर्क साधून बस रिझर्व्हेशन सुविधाही सुरू करण्यासाठी प्रयत्न करणार आहे.

सीनी : एक ओर जहां रेल प्रशासन यात्रियों की तरह-तरह सुविधाओं की घोषणा करता है, वहीं दक्षिण पूर्व रेलवे के महत्वपूर्ण स्टेशन सीनी में दिन-प्रतिदिन समस्याओं का अंबार बढ़ता ही जा रहा है। यात्रियों की सुविधा इन समस्याओं के आगे सिमटने लगी है।
विदित हो कि सीनी जिला मुख्यालय का निकटतम स्टेशन है, जहां दर्जनों एक्सप्रेस एवं यात्री गाडि़यों का ठहराव होता है और प्रतिदिन हजारों यात्रियों का समागम होता है। स्टेशन में औसतन प्रतिदिन 40 हजार रुपये के टिकट की बिक्री होती है। सीनी स्टेशन में कई तरह की समस्याएं हैं। यहां बुजुर्ग एवं निश्शक्त यात्रियों के लिए किसी तरह की कोई सुविधा नहीं है। यात्रियों को ऊंची सीढ़ी चढ़कर स्टेशन के प्लेटफार्म नंबर एक व दो को जाना पड़ता है। सुविधाओं के अभाव में अनेक बुजुर्ग व निश्शक्त यात्री जमशेदपुर जाकर रेल यात्रा करते हैं। सीनी स्टेशन में टिकट काउंटर व आरक्षण केंद्र स्टेशन के अंदर है, जबकि नियमत: स्टेशन के बाहर होना चाहिए क्योंकि प्लेटफार्म पर जाने के लिए टिकट की आवश्यकता होती है। पूछताछ की खिड़की नहीं है, जिसकी वजह से यात्रियों को ट्रेन आवागमन की सही सूचना नहीं मिल पाती है। यात्री शेड भी छोटा है, जिस वजह से बरसात या गर्मी में यात्रियों को रेल यात्रा में कई तरह की कठिनाइयां होती हैं। यहां एक भी सफाईकर्मी नहीं है। स्टेशन अधीक्षक अपनी जेब से पैसे खर्च कर दो-तीन दिन में एक बार बाहर से सफाई कर्मी लाकर स्टेशन परिसर की साफ-सफाई कराते हैं। अनुबंध समाप्त हो जाने के बाद रेल प्रशासन की ओर से अब तक साफ-सफाई की कोई व्यवस्था नहीं की गयी है। यहां ग्रुप डी के तीन स्वीकृत पद हैं पर वर्षो से रिक्त पड़े हैं। स्टेशन में फास्ट फूड का कोई स्टाल नहीं है। स्टाल के न रहने से यात्रियों को परेशानी होती है। लोगों का मानना है कि अगर स्टेशन में यात्री सुविधा मुहैया कराई जाए तो न केवल स्थानीय रेल यात्रियों को सुविधा होगी बल्कि रेल प्रशासन की आय भी बढ़ेगी।

The Kacheguda-Yeshwantpur- Kacheguda Express (Train No.17603/17604) is temporarily augmented with one second-class sleeper coach from September 11 to September 20 from Kacheguda, and from September 12 to 21 from Yeshwantpur. Similarly, Kakinada Town-Bangalore City-Kakinada Town Sheshadri Express (Train No.17210/17209) is temporarily augmented with one three-tier A/C coach and one second-class sleeper coach with effect from September 11 to 20 from Kakinada, and from September 12 to 21 from Bangalore city, said a South Western Railway release.

Bhubaneswar: Ruling BJD to start 1-hr dharna at railway stations across Odisha from Sept 12 to 14 protesting against Union minister V Kishore Deo's demand for shifting of ECoR office to Vizag. This was informed by the BJD Youth Wing President Sanjay Dasverma at Bhubaneswar today. It may be noted that Deo has sent a letter to the Antony Committee, constituted by the Central government to assess the situation resulted from the announcement to form separate Telangana state, arguing, “Vishakhapatnam is situated at the centre of the east coast between Kolkata and Chennai, the East Coast Railways Headquarters which should have been located at Vishakhapatnam is unfortunately established at Bhubaneswar.” The Union minister had also stated, “The South Eastern Zonal Railway Headquarters (currently in Kolkata) may be shifted to Bhubaneswar with the Khurda division attached to it and the East Coast Zonal Headquarters must be shifted to Vishakhapatnam with the addition of Vijayawada Division in the lieu of Khurda Division.” Deo suggested that the South Eastern Zonal Railway Headquarters should be shifted from Kolkata to Bhubaneswar as “by no stretch of imagination can Kolkata be said to be any part of the South Eastern region.”

सोनीपत-गोहाना-जींद रेलवे लाइन का निर्माण कार्य धीमी गति से चल रहा है। निर्माणाधीन रेलवे लाइन के जगहों पर तो पटरी बिछाने के लिए अभी तक मिट्टी डालने का काम भी पूरा नहीं हो पाया है। जिस गति से काम चल रहा है उस हिसाब से इसके पूरे होने में अभी काफी समय लगना तय है। क्षेत्र के लोगों ने रेलवे लाइन का काम जल्द से जल्द पूरा कराने की माग की है।
दरअसल रेलवे की ओर से लगभग साढ़े तीन साल पहले सोनीपत-गोहाना-जींद रेलवे लाइन का निर्माण कार्य शुरू किया गया था। इस लाइन का काम 2013 के अंत तक पूरा करने का लक्ष्य रखा गया था। जिस गति से रेल लाइन का निर्माण कार्य चल रहा है उसके हिसाब से लगभग एक-डेढ़ साल में काम पूरा होने की उम्मीद है। क्षेत्र के लोगों ने माग की कि इस रेलवे लाइन का काम जल्द से जल्द पूरा किया जाए ताकि क्षेत्र के लोगों को सोनीपत, दिल्ली और जींद पहुचने में आसानी हो सके।
शहर निवासी रणबीर मान ने कहा कि क्षेत्र के लोगों को उम्मीद थी कि इस रेलवे लाइन का काम 2013 में पूरा हो जाएगा और इसके बाद रेल भी दौड़नी शुरू हो जाएगी। उन्होंने कहा कि धीमी गति से निर्माण कार्य होने के कारण लोगों की उम्मीदों पर पानी फिर गया है। उन्होंने कहा कि इसी रेलवे लाइन के साथ ही मंजूर हुई रोहतक-झज्जर-रेवाड़ी रेलवे लाइन कब का पूरा हो चुका है और वहा रेल भी दौड़नी शुरू हो चुकी है।
गुलशन कुमार ने कहा कि सोनीपत-गोहाना-जींद रेल लाइन शुरू होने से क्षेत्र के लोगों को सोनीपत व दिल्ली और जींद पहुंचने में काफी सहूलियत होगी। लाइन के चालू होने
के बाद क्षेत्र के लोग सस्ते किराए में यात्रा कर करेगे और क्षेत्र में व्यवसायिक गतिविधिया भी बढ़ेगी।
शहर निवासी सुभाष सिंगला ने कहा कि सरकार को जनभावनाओं का सम्मान करते हुए इस प्रोजेक्ट के कार्य में तेजी लानी चाहिए और जल्द से जल्द काम पूरा किया जाना चाहिए।
