Chandigarh : Yoga guru Ramdev today accused Union Minister Kapil Sibal of framing former railway minister and MP Pawan Kumar Bansal in the infamous railgate.Ramdev said it was none other than Kapil Sibal who allegedly framed Bansal.Ramdev said as Sibal wanted to contest from Chandigarh, he helped the CBI arrest Bansal’s nephew Vijay Singla. He stated that Sibal knew that he would not be able to win from Chandni Chowk in Delhi. |

MLA Rowthu Suryaprakasa Rao has said that the announcement of Union Tourism Minister K. Chiranjeevi that the Havelock Bridge would be developed as a tourist spot has given new hopes and all the stakeholders of the bridge would work hard to redesign and dedicate the bridge to the nation by coming Godavari Pushkarams in 2015.Addressing media conference here on Tuesday, Mr. Suryaprakasa Rao lauded Mr. Chiranjeevi for taking the initiative despite all odds from Railways.He also thanked MP Vundavalli Arun Kumar, Union Human Resource Development Minister M. M. Pallam Raju and others for their role. The MLA specially commended people of Rajahmundry and all the organisations who took up the issue in a big way.The MLA said the late Divisional Engineer K. Srimannarayana had given an excellent design for constructing foot-over Bridge in place of Havelock railway track and the Municipal Corporation had taken up the design to the notice of the State government.Mr. Suryaprakasa Rao said that the MP and he had been pursuing the issue for the last eight years and they had proposed ‘Jambudweepam’ island tourism development centre in one corner of the Godavari.He said that Mr Arun Kumar would present the design, correspondence, estimates and other details before the Union Minister in the second week of August along with the State Tourism Minister and also raise the issue in the coming Parliament session. |

एमआरटीएस कारशेडचे आरक्षण बदलणे शहराच्या हिताचे नाही. ही कारशेड ओवळा येथील मोनो-मेट्रोच्या कारशेडजवळ स्थलांतरीत करणेही व्यवहार्य नाही. त्यामुळे प्रशासनाने आरक्षण बदलाचा प्रस्ताव मांडला असला , तरी शहराच्या भवितव्याचा विचार करून हे आरक्षण कायम ठेवा , अशी भूमिका खुद्द पालिका आयुक्त असीम गुप्ता यांनी मंगळवारी सर्वसाधारण सभेत मांडली. सत्ताधारी शिवसेनेनेही तीच भूमिका घेतल्याने कारशेडचे आरक्षण कायम करण्याचा ठराव संमत झाला. |
