MYSORE: South Western Railways (SWR) Mysore Division honoured eight members of their staff for their exemplary work in June with the 'Persons of the Month' awards.Vinod Kumar, divisional railway manager, South Western Railway, Mysore, presented the awards at function held at Mysore railway office. The awards under different categories are aimed at motivating staff to improve their performance.B Kanjakshi, chief office superintendent, Mysore (mechanical department) and Beliyappa, Nitht Patrolman, (engineering department) were awarded for sincerity. For safety, Anne Gowda, trackman, Sakleshpur (engineering department) and Mahesh, watchman, Subramanya Road (engineering department) were awarded.Suresh, watchman, Sakleshpur (engineering department) and V Manjunath, head constable/prosecution branch, Mysore (security department) and Ashuthosh Kumar Jha, section controller, Mysore (operating department) were awarded for their dedication.Vinod said economy award was given to Srinivas Naidu, telecommunication maintainer, signal and telecommunication department. | ||
