When Railway authorities misinformed passengers about train’s actual arrival platform, it is the twitter that came to rescue passengers. Tuesday at Lucknow 19709 Kaviguru Express was scheduled to arrive 13:55 hrs in the noon on platform no. 1 but it arrived on platform no. 3. This happened due to some operational issue but railway authorities did not informed passengers about the instant change of platforms. More than 150 passengers were kept waiting for the train on platform number 1 while from platform number 3 Kaviguru departed and left 150 passengers stranded. Such irresponsibility of railway authorities let irate passengers lodge complaints on the twitter. Some passengers also reached station manager’s room to file complaints. This led DRM Alok Kumar Lahoti to stop Kaviguru at Barabanki and arrange a special train instantaneously to take 150 passengers to Barabanki so that they can board Kaviguru. However still some old age passengers did missed their train as for them this was too much to handle.

Railway has announced a special train between Mangalore Junction and Ahmedabad that will run three times this November. Train No.09415 from Mangalore Jn. To Ahmedabad will run on November 2, 9 and 16. This special train will carry special fare over the base fare that passengers will have to bear with. Mangalore Jn. – Ahmedabad will depart from Mangalore Jn. At 05:45 PM in the evening and will arrive at 07:20PM next day evening. There will be eight Sleeper coaches, two AC 2 tier coaches and two AC 3 tier coaches. Train will stop at the following stoppages - Suratkal, Mulki, Udupi, Kundapura, Mookambika Road Byndoor, Bhatkal, Kumta, Karwar, Madgaon, Karmali, Thivim, Kudal, Kankavali, Ratnagiri, Chiplun, Khed, Roha, Panvel, Vasai Road, Boisar, Vapi, Surat, Bharuch, Vadodara, Anand and Nadiad. |

A special train has been with special fare is announced from Kochuveli to Hyderabad that will run on November 7, 14, 21 and 28. Train No.07116 Kochuveli – Hyderabad special train will depart from Kochuveli at 08:15PM every Monday till 28 November in night and will reach Hyderabad on Wednesday at 03:30AM. There will be in total of 15 coaches in the train out of which ten coaches will be of Sleeper Class, two AC 3 Tier coaches and one AC 2 tier coach. Apart from these coaches there will be two Luggage cum brake Van coaches. The given train will stop at 28 stops before reaching Hyderabad. Southern railway has announced another Special fully AC superfast train between Kochuveli and Hazrat Nizamuddin that will also carry special fair on its seats. Train No.04425 Kochuveli – Hazrat Nizamuddin superfast AC special train will depart from Kochuveli at 11:00PM in night on 07, 14, 21 & 28 November, 2016 every Monday and will arrive Hazrat Nizamuddin at 03.00 AM in the morning on every Thursday. This train will consist of total eleven fully AC coaches with one AC tier 1 coach, Eleven AC 3 Tier coaches and Five AC 2 Tier coaches. The train will stop on following stops – Kollam, Kayankulam, Chengannur, Tiruvalla, Kottayam, Ernakulam Town, Aluva, Thrissur, Palakkad, Coimbatore, Tiruppur, Erode, Salem, Jolarpettai, Katpadi, Renigunta, Nellore, ongole, Chirala, Vijayawada, Khammam, Warangal, Ramagundam, Balharshah, Nagpur, Itarsi, Bhopal, Jhansi, Gwalior, Agra Cantonment and Mathura. |

South Central Railway has announced a special train that will run in between Puducherry and Satragachi via Chennai Egmore. Train No.06010 Puducherry – Santragachi special train will carry special fare over its base fare. This train will leave Puducherry on Saturday - 05th November, 2016 at 07:15 Pm evening and will reach Santragachi on Monday at 04:30 AM in the morning. 06010 will comprise One - Tier 2 AC coach and Tier 1 AC coach along with 7 sleeeper coaches and 6 General Coaches. There will two Luggage cum Brake van coaches that will also become a part of the special train. The train will stop en-route on the following stoppages -

South Western Railways has announced a Suvidha special train between Belagavi and Yesvantpur help passengers travel easily this heavy rush time. As Deepavali is approaching, confirmation of seats are getting harder to come by due to which large number of passengers get stranded at one station. Yesvantpur- Belagavi Suvidha special Express with Train No. 82661 will depart from Yesvantpur at 20.30 hrs on Friday- 28th October, 2016 and will arrive Belagavi at 08.10 hrs Saturday 29th October 2016.
The return Train Belagavi- Yesvantpur Suvidha special Express with No. 82662 will depart from Belagavi at 19.10 hrs on Tuesday, 1stNovember 2016 and will arrive Yesvantpur at 06.20 hrs on Wednseday, 2nd November 2016.
This Suvidha special train will have 18 coaches that will comprise of Fourteen Second class Sleeper coaches, Two AC 3-tier sleeper coaches and Two luggage and Break-van with generator. This train will stop at following stations – Davanagere, Harihar, Tumakuru, Haveri, Hubballi, Arsikere, BirurDharwar and Londa.
