Addressing the unprecedented rise in number of passengers in H.S.Nanded-Pune-H.S.Nanded Bi-Weekly Express South Central Railway has added six extra coaches in the train. This has made this train as 17 coaches against its earlier composition of 11 coaches.

Accordingly train number 12730/12729 H.S.Nanded-Pune-H.S.Nanded Bi-Weekly Express will now run with 17 coaches.

Revised train composition –

• AC three tier – 1 coach
• Sleeper Class – 7 coaches
• General Second class – 6 coaches
• SLR – 2 coaches

A regular triweekly DEMU service will commence between Jalna and Shirdi from June 9. This DEMU train will run between the two stations on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday.

Jalna – Shirdi DEMU

To provide travelling facility for waitlisted passengers additional coaches will be added in six express trains as per details –

• 12795 Vijayawada-Secunderabad Intercity express will run with one extra AC Chair Car coach till June 30.
• 07758 Vijayawada-Secunderabad Superfast Special train will run with one extra AC chair car till June 25.
• 12796 Secunderabad-Vijayawada Intercity Express will run with one extra AC chair car till June 30.
• 07757 Secunderabad-Vijayawada Superfast Special train will run with one extra AC Chair car till June 25.
• 07418 Nagasol - Tirupati Weekly Summer Special train will run with one extra Sleeper Class coach till July 1.
• 07417 Tirupati-Nagarsol Weekly Summer Special train will run with one extra Sleeper Class till June 30.

To provide additional travelling convenience South Central Railway has decided to add additional coaches in Garibrath Express temporarily as per details –

• 12740 Secunderabad - Visakhapatnam Garibrath Express will be augmented with one AC three tier coach till June 30.
• 12739 Visakhapatnam – Secunderabad Garibrath Express will be augmented with one AC three tier coach till July 1.

गोरखपुर - दिल्ली मार्ग पर चलने वाली ट्रेनों कि रफ़्तार गर्मी में भी ठंडी पड़ी हुई है | इस मार्ग पर चलने वाली सभी प्रमुख गाड़ियां विलम्ब से चल रही हैं | गोरखधाम, संपर्क क्रांति, वैशाली, सप्त क्रांति और हमफर एक्सप्रेस प्रतिदिन विलम्ब से ही रहती हैं | इसके अलावा गाड़ियों के बेवजह कैंट., डोमिनगढ़ और नकहा स्टेशन पर रुकने के कारण लोगों को परेशान होना पड़ रहा है | 
हालात ये हो गए हैं कि शाम को गोरखपुर से चलकर सुबह दिल्ली पहुँचने वाली ट्रेनें दोपहर और शाम को दिल्ली पहुँच रही हैं | ज्यादातर गाड़ियां बाराबंकी और कानपुर के बीच लेट हो रही हैं | उधर अतिरिक्त किराया देने के बाद भी हमसफ़र एक्सप्रेस के यात्री वेंडरों कि मनमानी से परेशान हैं और दूसरी तरफ इस ट्रेन में चरों तरफ गंदी ही फैली रहती है | हमसफ़र एक्सप्रेस का पानी अक्सर कानपुर में समाप्त हो जाता है |

बुधवार को भी आदित्यपुर-गम्हरिया रेलखंड पर नान इंटर लॉकिंग कार्य के चलते आठ ट्रेनों के परिचालन पर बुरा असर पड़ा जो इस प्रकार हैं -

• अहमदाबाद- हावड़ा एक्सप्रेस
• दानापुर-दुर्ग साउथ बिहार
• आसनसोल-टाटा एक्सप्रेस
• आसनसोल-टाटा इंटरसिटी एक्सप्रेस
• बड़बिल-हावड़ा जनशताब्दी
• संपर्क क्रांति
• टिटलागढ़-हावड़ा इस्पात

ये सभी ट्रेनें घंटों विलम्ब के बाद ही टाटानगर स्टेशन पहुँच सकीं | टिटलागढ़-हावड़ा इस्पात एक्सप्रेस को सेक्शन में 40 मिनट के लिए कंट्रोल किया गया जबकि बड़बिल-हावड़ा जनशताब्दी एक्सप्रेस रात साढ़े सात बजे के बाद और  टाटा-आसनसोल शाम पांच बजे के बाद टाटानगर स्टेशन पहुँच पायीं |

Habibganj station of Bhopal is all set to become the first raiway station to be developed under public – private partnership. The contract has been awarded to a local firm knows as Bansal Group which will develop this station as per international standards and will maintain it for eight years.

Besides this the company has been allotted four land parcels on a 45 year lease. Rs. 100 crore will be invested to rebuild the station and all four land parcels will be developed as commercial spaces.

The Habibganj station will be converted into a world-class transit hub which will have shopping stores, restaurants, eateries, parking lots, among others.

The station will be powered by solar energy and it will have facilities for differently-abled people.
