प्लेटफॉर्म नंबर दो की पटरियों को चार साल पहले 2009 में ही बदलना था। लेकिन, रेलवे अधिकारियों की लापरवाही के कारण काम अब तक टलता ही जा रहा है। यह तब, जबकि पूरे मंडल में रांची छोड़कर कहीं भी लकड़ी के स्लीपर पर पटरियां नहीं हैं।

हमारी नजर में है, जल्द काम होगा

प्लेटफॉर्म नंबर दो का काम हमारी नजर में है। इसकी पटरियां भी बदली जाएंगी। हाल ही में प्लेटफॉर्म नंबर एक की पटरियों को बदला गया था और इसके लिए सीमेंटेड प्लेटफॉर्म बनाकर कंक्रीट के स्लीपर भी लगाए गए हैं। दो के लिए भी ऐसी ही योजना है, लेकिन फिलहाल तो फंड का इंतजार है। जैसे मंडल में फंड आएगा, इस काम को भी कराया जाएगा।’

प्लेटफॉर्म नंबर दो पर सबसे अधिक गाड़ियां आती हैं। इनमें मालगाड़ियों समेत, डाउन की गाड़ियां शामिल हैं। इनमें करीब 20 आकर रुकने वाली और इतनी ही खुलने वाली। लेकिन, प्लेटफॉर्म एक, तीन, चार और पांच की पटरियां कंक्रीट के स्लीपर हैं, जबकि दो की लकड़ी के स्लीपर पर।

DERAILMENT OF o­nE WHEEL OF LOCO  OF 17058 UP DEVGIRI EXPRESS

One  wheel of loco of Train No. 17058Secunderabad– Mumbai Devgiri express derailed  near Igatpur station at 04.15 hrs today i.e. o­n 05/07/13 and same was re-railed at 5.55 hours. No injury to the passengers and UP trains were diverted via Yard Line.  The passengers of affected train were adjusted in Up trains i.e. 11016 Kushinagar Express and 12138 Up Punjab Mail by 08.30 hrs. Due to this Manmad-LTT Rajya Rani Express is cancelled and UP Mail/Express trains were deleyed by 1-00 hour.  Shri B.P.Khare,General Manager along with Sr.Railway Officials reached the site immediately to inspection of restoration work.  Following enquiry cum help line counter  were opened for the benefit of public.

Eight Weekly Special Trains Between Visakhapatnam And Nanded from 9th July to 31st July 2013

      In order to clear extra rush of passengers eight weekly special trains will run between Visakhapatnam and Nanded from 9th July to 31stJuly 2013 as per the following schedule:-

          Train No. 08509 Visakhapatnam-Nanded Special Train will depart Visakhapatnam at 19 30 hrs o­n 9th, 16th, 23rd and 30thJuly 2013 (Tuesdays) and arrive Nanded at 14 35 hrs o­n the next day.

  In the return direction, Train No. 08510 Nanded - Visakhapatnam Special Train will depart Nanded at 16 15 hrs o­n 10th, 17th, 24th and 31st July 2013 (Wednesdays) and arrive Visakhapatnam at 10 15 hrs o­n the next day.

            Enroute these trains will stop at  Rajahmundry, Tadepalligudem, Eluru, Vijayawada, Kazipet, Secunderbad, Kamareddy, Nizamabad, Basar and Mudkhed stations in both the directions.
The Train will comprise of nineteen coaches viz., o­ne AC II Tier, o­ne AC III Tier, ten Sleeper Class, five General Second Class and two Luggage cum Brake Van Coaches.

            Central Railway will operate Mega Blocks o­n its suburban sections for carrying out maintenance work o­n Sunday 7.7.2013 : -


1)  ON UP SLOW LINE BETWEEN KALYAN AND THANE STATIONS
from 11.00 am to 4.00 pm.
Up slow line services leaving Kalyan from 10.34 am to 3.54 pm will be diverted o­n Up fast line between Kalyan and Mulund stations halting at Dombivli and Thane stations.

All DN fast line services leaving Mumbai CST from 10.08 am  to 2.40 pm will halt at Ghatkopar, Vikhroli, Bhandup and Mulund stations in addition to their scheduled halts and UP fast line locals leaving Thane station from 10.50 am to 3.08 pm will halt at Mulund, Bhandup, Vikhroli, Ghatkopar and Kurla stations in addition to their scheduled halts and arrive their destination15 minutes behind schedule. UP slow line services will not be available at Thakurli, Kopar, Diva, Mumbra and Kalwa Stations. Passengers of these stations are permitted to travel via Dombivli and Thane stations. All slow locals arriving & leaving CST between 10.00 am to 4.00 pm will arrive their destination 15 minutes behind schedule. 
2)  ON UP AND DN  LINE BETWEEN KALYAN AND AMBERNATH STATIONS
from 2.00 pm to 3.30 pm.
DN local line services will remain suspended between Kalyan and Badlapur stations leaving Kalyan from 1.32 pm to 3.17 pm and UP line locals leaving Badlapur from 1.49 pm to 3.22 pm
However, Shuttle services will run between Badlapur and Karjat during the block period.
UP HARBOUR LINE BETWEEN KURLA AND CHHATRAPATI SHIVAJI TERMINUS &

UP AND DN HARBOUR LINES BETWEEN VADALA ROAD AND MAHIM STATIONS

FROM 11.30 AM TO 3.30 PM.


            Dn Harbour line services to Bandra/Andheri leaving Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus from 10.20 am to 4.32 pm and Up Harbour line services towards Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus leaving Bandra /Andheri from 10.40 am to 4.41 pm will remain suspended.

Up Harbour line services towards Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus leaving Kurla from 11.08 am to 3.23 pm will run via Main line between Kurla and Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus. These trains will not halt at Currey Road and Chinchpokli stations.

Harbour line passengers for Bandra/ Andheri are permitted to travel Via Main line and Western Railway from 10.00 am to 6.00 pm o­n 7.7.2013.

            All Up and Dn Harbour line services leaving and arriving Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus between 11.00 am and 5.00 pm will arrive destination about 10 minutes behind schedule.

            Due to these blocks suburban trains are likely to be more crowded than usual. Passengers are requested not to take any risks while travelling. They are also requested to avoid travelling o­n foot board, roof top of locals and not to board extremely over crowded trains. Passengers are requested to bear with the Railway Administration for the inconvenience caused.

Eight Weekly Special Trains Between Visakhapatnam And Nanded from 9th July to 31st July 2013

पलपल इंडिया ब्यूरो, मुंबई. यात्रियों की सुविधा को ध्यान में रखते हुए पश्चिम रेलवे ने गाड़ी संख्या 04804/04803 बांद्रा टर्मिनस-जोधपुर साप्ताहिक विशेष ट्रेन के फेरे बढ़ाने का निर्णय लिया है.

  इस निर्णय के तहत गाड़ी सं. 04804 बांद्रा टर्मिनस-जोधपुर साप्ताहिक विशेष गाड़ी अब  27 जुलाई तक प्रत्येक शनिवार को बांद्रा टर्मिनस से 23.55 बजे प्रस्थान करेगी और अगले दिन 17.45 बजे जोधपुर पहुंचेगी. इसी प्रकार वापसी में गाड़ी सं. 04803 जोधपुर-बांद्रा टर्मिनस साप्ताहिक विशेष गाड़ी भी 27 जुलाई तक प्रत्येक शनिवार को जोधपुर से 04.00 बजे प्रस्थान करेगी और उसी दिन 22.25 बजे बांद्रा टर्मिनस पहुंचेगी.

इस गाड़ी को बोरीवली, वापी, वलसाड़, सूरत, भरूच, वड़ोदरा, आणंद, नांदियाड़, अहमदाबाद, महेसाणा जं., पालनपुर, आबूरोड, सिरोही रोड, फालना, मारवाड़ जं., पाली मारवाड़ तथा लूनी स्टेशनों पर ठहरेगी.

  इस गाड़ी में  एसी सेकेंड तथा थर्ड एसी के साथ द्वितीय श्रेणी के शयनयान तथा सामान्य डिब्बे शामिल होंगे. विस्तारित सेवा की बुकिंग 5 जुलाई  से प्रारंभ होगी.

SCR’s Performance during the First Quarter (April-June 2013) of the Current Financial Year 2013-14

The highlights of the performance of SCR in its traffic volume and earnings during the first quarter (April to June) of the current financial year 2013-14 are detailed below:

SCR achieved a Gross Earnings of Rs ­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­2589 Cr. during the period April-June 2013  with an incremental earning of Rs. 100 Cr. over the earnings of the corresponding  period of the previous year,  posting a growth rate of  4 %.

        During April-June 2013, the Zone  has  achieved  an  originating freight loading of  26.7 Million Tonnes (MT) with an earning of Rs. 1846 Cr.  Earnings from Freight constituted 72 % of the total earnings.

        Coal with 14.6 MT constituted 55% of the total freight loading. Cement with 7 MT Food grains with 1.7 MT  and Fertilizers with 0.75 MT  constituted other major components of freight traffic loaded o­n SCR. The freight loading of SCR is mainly aided by Coal from Singareni Collieries and the traffic handled at the Ports of Krishnapatnam and Kakinada.

        The off take of coal by Rail from Singareni Collieries stood at 7.3 MT.  during April-June 2013. The Rail loading at Krishnapatnam Port was 3.3 MT (+34% over the last year) and from Kakinada Port was 1.7 MT. (+ 36 % over the last year ) during this period. The commodities loaded at these Ports mainly comprised of Coal and Fertilizers.

        SCR  carried  97 millions of originating passengers during April-June 2013,  ie. 10.66 lakh passengers o­n an average per day.  Passenger Earnings constituted 24 % of the total earnings. They grew by 17 %  in the 1st Quarter to  Rs. 612 Cr. compared to Rs. 524 Cr. earned during the same period of the previous fiscal.

        During April-June 2013, SCR operated  296 special train services and carried 1.74 lakhs additional passengers. 1457 extra coaches were attached benefitting 86139 passengers. The carrying capacity of 8 Express trains has been augmented by attachment of  30 additional coaches (12 AC III Tier, 1 AC II Tier, 7 Sleeper Class and 10 General Second Class Coaches)  on a permanent basis.

South Central Railway, undoubtedly among the most passenger-friendly Railway zones of the Indian Railways, has announced a slew of special trains and extra coaches to be added to existing popular trains to clear waitlisted passengers, cater to the extra rush of passengers and to provide more traveling amenities to passengers. Most of coach additions will be for trains running through Andhra Pradesh only.
