Terminal Station of Sirpurkaghaznagar-Hyderabad Express and Originating Station of Hyderabad-Bidar Express Changed



South Central Railway will change the terminal station of Sirpurkaghaznagar-Hyderabad Express and originating Station of  Hyderabad-Bidar Express with effect from 15th August, 2013 as detailed below:-



1) Train No. 17012 Bellampalli-Hyderabad Express will terminate at Secunderabad  instead of Hyderabad. This  train  departs Bellampalli at 11 00 hrs and arrives Secunderabad at 17 00 hrs o­n the same day.



2) Train No. 17010 Hyderabad-Bidar Express will depart from Secunderabad  instead of Hyderabad..  Accordingly, Tr. No. 17010 Secunderabad-Bidar Express will depart Secunderabad at 17 30 hrs and arrive Bidar at 21 15 hrs o­n the same day. In the return direction, Tr. No. 17009 Bidar-Hyderabad Express will terminate at Hyderabad as at present.

Temporary augmentation of Jaipur-Delhi Sarai-Jaipur DD Exp train.

ALLAHABAD: Sleuths of RPF ( Railway Protection Force) nabbed a person dealing in sale of IMFL ( Indian Made Foreign Liquor) at Allahabad railway junction on Monday. About 40 bottles of foreign liquor were recovered from the possession of the person.The person was identified as Dinesh Kumar Tyagi, resident of Preetam Nagar of the city.While he was moving in the main hall of the city side of the Allahabad railway junction, sleuths of RPF took hold of him. About 40 liquor bottles were recovered from him.The market price of the liquor was estimated to be about Rs 20,000. He arrived at Allahabad railway junction from Prayag Raj Express.RPF inspector Anand Kumar told TOI that on interrogation, the person revealed that he was retired army personnel who worked in the Indian Army but he failed to show the identity card.The erring person was later handed over to GRP.

The South Central Railway (SCR) will operate special trains and provide additional bogies for the convenience of passengers, in view of the proposed APSRTC strike, which begins from Monday midnight.

Railway authorities announced that four express trains, moving towards Hyderabad from Tirupati and Narsapur and Karimnagar, were augmented with additional coaches to clear the extra rush from August 12 to 20.Train No.12764/12763 Secunderabad-Tirupati-Secunderabad (Padmavathi Express) would be augmented with one sleeper class coach in both directions. The trains would have 14 coaches. Train No. 17401/17402 Tirupati-Machilipatnam-Tirupati expresses trains would be provided with one sleeper class coach. The trains would have seven bogies after augmentation.Train Nos. 17256/17255 Hyderabad-Narsapur-Hyderabad would be attached with one additional sleeper class coach, totalling seven coaches, from August 13 to 20. Similarly, train Nos. 12761/12762 Tirupati-Karimnagar-Tirupati Express would be attached with one sleeper class coach in both directions. The trains would run with nine sleeper class bogies in both directions, said the railway officials.The SCR is operating six special trains with Nos. 08637/08638 Hatia-Yesvantpur-Hatia, with 15 coaches in both directions. The trains will touch Visakhapatnam, Samalkot, Rajahmundry, Vijayawada, Nellore, Gudur, Renigunta, Tirupati, Pakala, Chittoor and Katpadi stations.

नई दिल्ली (सुनील पाण्डेय): इंडियन रेलवे कैटरिंग एण्ड टूरिज्म कारपोरेशन (आईआरसीटीसी) की ई-टिकट वाली वेबसाइट पर 12 अगस्त को पांच लाख से ज्यादा टिकटों की बुकिंग हुई है और यह एक दिन में अब तक की सर्वाधिक टिकटों की बुकिंग है।

आईआरसीटीसी के मुताबिक 'कल 5.04 लाख ई-टिकटों की बुकिंग हुई है जो एक रिकॉर्ड है। रेलवे की सहायक शाखा आईआरसीटीसी ने ज्यादा टिकटों की बुकिंग आसान करने के उद्देश्य से अपनी वेबसाइट को अधिक उन्नत बनाने के लिए 12 करोड़ रूपये निवेश किए हैं। इससे पहले, इसी साल एक मार्च को वेबसाइट के जरिये 5.02 लाख टिकट बुक किए गए थे। पिछले साल प्रति दिन की औसत बुकिंग 3.85 लाख रूपये थी जो अब 4.30 लाख प्रति दिन हो गई है।

आईआरसीटीसी ने कई अहम कदम भी उठाए हैं ताकि उसकी व्यवस्था निर्बाध चल सके। आईआरसीटीसी के प्रवक्ता प्रदीप कुंडू के मुताबिक वर्तमान में 2 हजार टिकट प्रति मिनट की क्षमता है। आगे जो नई तकनीक ईजाद की जा रही है उसके बाद इसकी कैपेसिटी 7 हजार टिकट प्रति मिनट की हो जाएगी। वर्तमान में वेबसाइट पर ट्रैफिक ज्यादा हो रहा है, जिसमें ज्यादा दबाव पूछताछ को लेकर है।

आने वाले कुछ समय में इंक्वायरी और टिकट आरक्षण को अलग कर दिया जाएगा, इसके बाद दबाव अपने आप कम हो जाएगा। इस व्यवस्था पर काम चल रहा है और अगले 2 महीने में पूछताछ की व्यवस्था को अलग कर दिया जाएगा।

पटना-भभुआ इंटरसिटी ट्रेन का परिचालन 17 अगस्त से शुरू किये जाने की विभागीय घोषणा को ले स्थानीय लोगों में हर्ष व्याप्त है। लोगों के अनुसार आरा-सासाराम रेलखंड पर इस महत्वपूर्ण ट्रेन के परिचालन से जहां आम यात्रियों को आवागमन की सुविधा सुलभ होगी वहीँ व्यवसाय की दृष्टि से भी इसका लाभ लोगों को मिलेगा।बता दें कि वित्तीय वर्ष 2013-14 के रेल बजट में इस ट्रेन के परिचालन की घोषणा की गयी थी। घोषणा के लगभग 6 महीने बाद इंटरसिटी ट्रेन का परिचालन शुरू कराने की मांग पूरी होने से लोगों में काफी प्रसन्नता है। मुगलसराय रेल मंडल के मंडल रेल प्रबंधक के अनुसार 17 अगस्त को भभुआ रोड स्टेशन से पूर्वाह्न 11 बजे नई रेल गाड़ी को हरी झंडी दिखाकर रवाना किया जायेगा। यह ट्रेन प्रतिदिन प्रात: 5 बजे पटना जंक्शन से भभुआ के लिए रवाना होगी। भभुआ से प्रतिदिन 11 बजे पटना के लिए खुलेगी। इंटरसिटी ट्रेन का ठहराव सभी प्रमुख स्टेशनों पर होगा। ट्रेन का परिचालन शुरू कराने हेतु पूर्व मध्य रेलवे द्वारा सभी आवश्यक तैयारी पूरी कर ली गयी है।

MANGALORE: Science Express, an innovative mobile exhibition mounted on a specially designed 16 coach AC train, travelling over 96,000 km across India since October 2007, will reach Kozhikode Station on August 24.With over one crore visitors at its 315 halts and 11,470 exhibition days till date, Science Express is the largest, longest and most visited mobile science exhibition in India. The Science Express Biodiversity Special (SEBS) primarily aims to create an awareness on biodiversity of India, climate change and similar issues among various sections of the society, especially the students. The exhibition will be open to public at Kozhikode Station from August 24 to 27. The train will also halt at Kannur Station from August 28 to 31. The exhibition will be open to public from 10am to 5pm and entry is free.Of the 16 coaches of the SEBS train, eight reflect the myriad biodiversity spread across the bio-geographical zones of India. These include Trans-Himalaya and the Himalayas, the Gangetic Plain, North East India, the Desert and Semi-Arid Zone, the Western Ghats, the Deccan Peninsula and the Coasts and Islands. The exhibition also covers various other facets like marine, coastal, forest, microbial, agro biodiversity and their linkage with livelihoods besides challenges of conservation.In the rest, one coach concerns with climate change, biodiversity and water. Exhibition on Green Technologies and exhibits on climate change are put up in another coach. Yet another coach reflects Energy conservation. A Kid Zone has been created in one of the coaches for kids to indulge in fun-filled activities, games and puzzles in science, mathematics and environment.

Public have been requested not to bring items like mobiles, cameras, bags, matchboxes, cigarettes, beedis, tobacco, any liquid, and any sharp pointed objects as they are not allowed inside the SEBS train. More information is available on the website www.scienceexpress.in.

From 15th August 2013 onwards, all Metro trains on Line 5 will be having reserved ladies coach as per the following norm: -

1. Lady passengers boarding Metro trains from Inderlok/Kirti Nagar towards Mundka are advised that the last coach will be the ladies coach.

2. Lady passengers travelling from Mundka towards Inderlok/Kirti Nagar should note that first coach will continue to be the reserved coach for ladies as before.

3. For this, announcements will be made inside the trains running on this route and also at stations and guards will be deployed at platforms of this line to guide the passengers for initial period.

4. This step is being taken to ensure ‘Ladies in and Ladies out’ from the same coach and to avoid inconvenience to women passengers who had to, otherwise face difficulties in de-boarding at interchange stations of Inderlok and Kirti Nagar.

5. In addition, DMRC will make all required arrangements for Metro passengers to ensure smooth transition of this new arrangement including proper positioning of the ladies coach at the station platform etc.

6. DMRC has already implemented the same mechanism on Line-6 (Central Secretariat – Badarpur) from 16th February 2013 and the experiment has been very well appreciated by women commuters.

7. The provision of First Coach of every train reserved as ‘Ladies only coach’ will remain unchanged on rest of the lines of the Delhi Metro i.e, Line-1, 2, 3 and 4.
