To clear extra rush of passengers, Railways have decided to augment the train no. 12281/12282 Bhubaneswar- New Delhi- Bhubaneswar Duronto Express train with One Sleeper class coach on temporary basis from 1.4.2012 to 29.4.2012 from Bhubaneswar and from 2.4.2012 to 30.4.2012 from New Delhi.

For the convenience & at the demand of the passengers, Railways have decided to provide anadditional stoppage at Naugachia stationto train no. 12423/12424 New Delhi- Dibrugarh Town- New DelhiRajdhani Express with effect from 10.4.12 to 10.10.12 on experimental basis for six months.

The 12423 New Delhi - Dibrugarh Town Rajdhani Express will arrive at Naugachia at 5.11 p.m & after stoppage of 2 minutes it will depart at 5.13 p.m for its onward journey to Dibrugarh. While in its return direction the 12424 Dibrugarh – New Delhi Rajdhani will arrive at Naugachia station at 6.49 a.m & will depart at 6.51 a.m. Hence the 12423/12424 Radhani will have 2 minutes stoppage at Naugachia stationin both the directions.

In the return direction, Train No. 12078 Vijayawada-Chennai CentralJanashatabdi Express will departVijayawada at 14 45 hrs and arrive at Chennai Central at 22 00 hrs.Enroute, these trainawill stop at Sullurpeta, Gudur, Nellore, Kavali, o­ngole, Chirala, Tenali, and New Guntur.

  Train Discussion  / KORAPUT-VISAKHAPATNAM INTERCITY TO BE INTRODUCED

A new bi-weekly Inter City Express Train between Koraput & Visakhapatnam will run with effect from 24thMarch 2012.

Shri Jayaram Pangi, Hon’ble Member of Parliament (Lok Sabha), Koraput will flag off the inaugural run of the Koraput-Visakhapatnam” Express at 11.00 a.m. o­n 24th March, 2012 at Koraput Railway station in presence of Shri Raghuram Padal, Hon’ble M.L.A., Koraput.

On the day of inaugural run, this train will run in the open path timings from Koraput to Visakhapatnam. However, the regular service of Train will be commenced from Visakhapatnam w.e.f. 26th March 2012 & w.e.f. 27th March 2012 from Koraput.

18511 Koraput-Visakhapatnam Inter City Express will leave Koraput at 05.00hrs o­n every Saturday & Tuesday and will arrive at Visakhapatnam at 12.30hrs. In the return direction, 18512 Visakhapatnam-Koraput Inter City Express will leave Visakhapatnam o­n every Monday & Friday and will arrive Koraput at 21.50hrs.

This train has Eight Second Class Chair Car, o­ne AC Chair Car and Two Guard cum Luggage Vans in its composition having stoppages at Damanjodi, Laxmipur Road, Tikiri, Singapur Road, Rayagada, Parvatipuram, Bobbili & Vizianagaram between Koraput and Visakhapatnam.

  Indian Railways News  / WR/Western Railways to run Ahmedabad-Madgaon Weekly AC Summer Special Train

For the convenience of passengers, WR will run a weekly summer special train between Ahmedabad and Madgaon during the summer vacations.

Train No.09414 Ahmedabad-Madgaon Weekly AC Special train will leave Ahmedabad o­n every Wednesday at 16.15 hrs to reach Madgaon at 13.15 hrs the next day from 4th April to 6th June, 2012. Similarly, Train No. 09413 Madgaon-Ahmedabad Weekly AC Special will depart from Madgaon o­n every Thursday at 15.20 hrs to reach Ahmedabad at 13.35 hrs the next day from 5th April to 7th June, 2012. The train will have I AC, II AC and AC III tier coaches. It will halt at Nadiad, Anand, Vadodara, Bharuch, Surat, Valsad, Vapi, Vasai Road, Panvel, Roha, Ratnagiri and Thivim stations in both directions.
