ट्रेनों में वेंडरों की मनमानी की शिकायतों के बाद भोपाल रेल मंडल ने यह व्यवस्था की है. बस आपको मोबाइल पर एक मैसेज करना है या फिर कॉल करके शिकायत दर्ज करवानी है. एक रुपये की गड़बड़ पर 5000 जुर्माना एक एक्शन टीम सक्रिय हो जायेगी और आपको तुरंत ही इन वेंडरों से राहत मिल सकेगी. जाँच में वेंडर दोषी निकला तो एक रूपये की गड़बड़ी पर उसे 5000 रूपये तक जुरमाना किया जा सकता है. |

Chandigarh: Union Railway Minister and Member of Parliament from Chandigarh Pawan Kumar Bansal today promised to develop Chandigarh as an important hub for rail connectivity with important cities in the country and said the Chandigarh railway station would get a makeover. The minister got a rousing welcome at the airport from Congress workers on his maiden visit to the city after being allocated the Railways portfolio. Bansal assured that work on the Chandigarh-Ludhiana rail link would be speeded up and a train link between Chandigarh and Delhi via Yamunanagar would be set up. Besides, work on laying a double track between Chandigarh and Ambala would also be speeded up.“As an MP, I have been pushing for fast trains between Chandigarh and Delhi,” he said, adding that general hygiene and passenger-oriented services at the Chandigarh railway station would be upgraded. Refusing to give a time frame in which the facilities would be provided at the station, he said, “There is already an improvement on platform No. 2. I will see to it that things are put in place at the station at the earliest,” he said.The Chandigarh station is among five stations selected for being developed as world-class stations. “I will look into the demand for trains to Haridwar, Thiruvananthapuram and other places of the country. I will also look into the demand for a rail link to Baddi,” he said.The minister said he would consider the demand for starting another Shatabdi Express between Chandigarh and Delhi.“Though my priority will be the overall development of all regions in the country, I will look into the pending projects concerning Chandigarh. I have earlier also taken up issues regarding Chandigarh,” he said. |

Continuing its drive against commuters without tickets, South East Central Railway, Bilaspur Division launched a massive ticket checking drive at Jairamnagar station.Railways officials said that under the leadership of Kishore Nikhare, assistant commercial manager, Bilaspur Division, collected fines to the tune of over Rs 73,000 from 322 cases. The checking was carried out in 17 different trains under the campaign. In the meantime, the assistant commercial manager appealed commuters with super fast Monthly Season Ticket (MST) and other MST to travel only in general compartment.According to the direction of Divisional Railway Manager, officials of railway frequently launched ticket checking drive in Jairamnagar station. The main objective of such campaigns is to maintain discipline and control movement of passengers without valid tickets.Meanwhile, the division has collected fine of over Rs 29,000 from 104 commuters travelling without ticket, around Rs 38,000 from 116 passengers travelling with invalid ticket and about Rs 5,500 from 102 cases of invalid luggage booking. As a result of frequent ticket checking drive, 15 per cent hike in ticket selling has been marked in the division, claimed officials of Bilaspur Division, adding that assistant commercial manager accompanied with chief ticket inspector PC Majhi and VK Sinha, 11 jawans of Railway Protection Force and 19 ticket checking staffs smoothly executed massive ticket checking campaign. Officials called upon public to travel with valid ticket and purchase platform ticket before entering inside the railway station. |
