Bio-toilets are slowly proving a hazard for travellers as they remain choke for most of the time. This has forced Indian Railways to install vacuum toilets in its premier trains like Rajdhani, Shatabadi and Humsafar. The idea behind replacing open toilets from bio- toilets was to make rail tracks defecation free, but although bio toilets make tracks free from defecation but as they choke easily, it becomes a nightmare for travellers due to foul smell they produce. |
