SCR to run Eight AC Superfast Special Trains Between Secunderabad-Visakhapatnam

In order to clear extra rush of passengers during ensuing festival season, South Central Railway will run 8 AC superfast special trains between Secunderabad-Visakhapatnam as per the following schedule:-

Train No. 02728 Secunderabad – Visakhapatnam AC Superfast Special Train will depart Secunderabad at 22 10 hrs o­n 4th, 11th, 18th and 25thOctober 2013 (Fridays) and arrive Visakhapatnam at 10 35 hrs o­n the next day.

In the opposite direction, Train No.02727 Visakhapatnam - Secunderabad AC Superfast Special Train will depart Visakhapatnam at 19 05 hrs o­n 5th, 12th, 19thand 26th October 2013 (Saturdays) and arrive Secunderabad at 07 50 hrs o­n the next day.

Enroute, these AC special trains will stop at Kazipet, Warangal, Vijayawada, Eluru, Tadepalligudem, Rajahmundry, Samalkot, Annavaram, Tuni, Anakapalli and Duvvada stations in both the directions.
These trains will have 17 coaches viz, o­ne AC First Class, three AC II Tier, eleven AC III Tier and two power car coaches.

रेल यात्रियों के लिए एक बड़ी खुशखबरी है. रेलवे ने मधुमेह रोग के यात्री को अब ट्रेन में शूगर रहित भोजन देने की पहल की है, ताकि उनके स्वास्थ्य पर किसी प्रकार का प्रतिकूल असर नहीं पड़े. पहले चरण में राजधानी, शताब्दी और दूरंतो एक्सप्रेस में इसका ट्रायल किया जा रहा है. जिसमें बढ़िया रिस्पांस मिला है. इसकी रिपोर्ट रेलवे बोर्ड को भेजी गयी है. जल्द ही राजधानी, शताब्दी और दूरंतो एक्सप्रेस में इसे नियमित रूप से चालू किया जायेगा. यहां बता दें कि ट्रायल के रूप में अभी राजधानी, शताब्दी और दूरंतो एक्सप्रेस में शुगर फ्री भोजन, रस, चाय, कॉफी, उबला हुआ शाकाहारी व मांसाहारी भोजन, नाश्ता,करेला समेत मौसमी हरी सब्जी और पौष्टिक आहार दिया जा रहा है.

हृदय रोगियों का भी ख्याल : शुगर फ्री खाने-पीने की चीजों के अलावा कॉलेस्ट्रॉल मुक्त खाद्य पदार्थ, कॉलेस्ट्रॉल मुक्त मक्खन की भी सुविधा ट्रॉयल बेसिस पर शुरू की गयी है.

A record amount of  Rs 5.85 lakh was realized towards penalty from 1880  persons who were detected committing the offence of ticketless / irregular travel during a Fortress Check conducted at Secunderabad Railway Station from 04 00 hrs to 22 00 hrs o­n 19thSeptember, 2013 under the direct supervision of  Shri A. Bharat Bhushan, Chief Commercial Manager, South Central Railway.

            This is the highest ever penalty amount realized in a day in any single ticket checking initiative at a Station o­n SCR. During the checks, the entire Station was fortified and all possible exit routes were sealed by Security Personnel. For carrying out the check, 150 Ticket checking staff, 24 Railway Protection Force  personnel including women constables were pressed into action under the direct supervision of Shri A. Bharat Bhushan, Chief Commercial Manager, South Central Railway.  71 Express trains, 26  Passenger trains and 50 MMTS trins  were thoroughly checked without leaving any scope for the errants to escape.

The effect of the fortress check resulted in 7%  increase in the sale of journey tickets and 12% increase in the sale of platform tickets across the counters in the station.

भोपाल। रेलवे प्रशासन ने यात्रियों की सुविधा के लिए लोकमान्य तिलक टर्मिनस (एलटीटी) से हजरत निजामुद्दीन के बीच दो एसी स्पेशल ट्रेन  चलाने का निर्णय लिया है। यह गाडिय़ां भोपाल में हॉल्ट लेकर जाएंगी।



ट्रेन नंबर 02109 एलटीटी-हजरत निजामुद्दीन के बीच 24 सितंबर को एसी स्पेशल चलेगी। वहीं, ट्रेन नंबर 02110 हजरत निजामुद्दीन-एलटीटी के बीच 25 सितंबर को एसी स्पेशल चलाई जाएगी। इन दोनों गाडिय़ों का भोपाल में आने का टाइम-टेबल इस प्रकार है।

MANGALORE: Southern Railway has made bus arrangement between Thissur and Kuttipuram for reserved passengers during non-interlocked working at Shoranur.

Passengers arriving at Thrissur by 16606 Nagercoil - Mangalore Ernad express to Kuttipuram and beyond will be transported by bus which leaves Thrissur at 9.55am and reach Kuttipuram at 11.20am. They can board passenger special train to Mangalore Central which leaves Kuttipuram at 2pm.

Likewise, reserved passengers arriving at Kuttipuram by 16605 Mangalore - Nagercoil Ernad express to Thrissur and beyond will be transported by bus which leaves Kuttipuram at 1.15pm and reach Thrissur at 2.45pm. Reserved passengers arriving at Ottapalam by train 13351 Dhanbad - Alappuzha express to Shoranur and beyond will be transported by bus which leaves Ottapalam at 2.30pm. This bus will reach Shoranur at 3pm.

Reserved passengers arriving at Ottapalam by train 17230 Hyderabad Sabari express to Shoranur and beyond, will be transported by bus which leaves Ottapalam at 10.50am. This bus will reach Shoranur at 11.20am.

Reserved passengers arriving at Ottapalam by train 12511 Gorakhpur - Thiruvananthapuram express (Sunday/Tuesday/Saturday), train 12521 Barauni - Ernakulam express (Thursday), train 16325 Indore - Thiruvananthapuram express (Wednesday), and train 16327 Korba - Thiruvananthapuram express (Monday/Friday) to Shoranur and beyond will be transported by bus which leaves Ottapalam at 10am. This bus will reach Shoranur at 10.30am.

Buses will be provided only for reserved passengers up to Shoranur after 20 minutes from the actual arrival of train at Ottappalam. Passengers with reserved tickets will be ferried by the buses from Ottappalam to Shoranur junction and between Thrissur to Kuttipuram and Kuttipuram to Thrissur.

Passengers arriving by trains from Thiruvananthapuram/Ernakulam side bound to Shoranur and via Shoranur should get down at Wadakkancheri, as no transportation has been arranged for passengers arriving by these trains between Ottappalam and Shoranur. They are requested to make use of the road facility adjacent to the Wadakkancheri railway station or by the train to be operated after non-interlocked working hours.

There will not be any bus facility for passengers arriving by any train other than those notified above. Passengers should take note of notifications issued from time to time by the information centres at the railway stations concerned. Special refund counters will be functioning at Kuttipuram, Ottappalam and Shoranur junction to enable passengers get refunds applicable to each case during non-interlocking working hours.

Passengers boarding trains 13352 Alappuzha - Dhanbad express, 17229 Thiruvananthapuram - Hyderabad Sabari express, 12512 Thiruvananthapuram - Gorakhpur express, 12522 Ernakulam - Barauni express, 16326 Thiruvananthapuram - Indore express and 16328 Thiruvananthapuram - Korba express should board at Wadakkancheri/Ottappalam on their own. They can also use the return bus facility from Shoranur as per information available at Shoranur junction.

JAPAN: Central Japan Railway Co has revealed details of the alignment of the planned maglev line from Tokyo to Nagoya. Announcing the route on September 18, the company said that it aimed to start construction work on the ¥5·4tr project next year, subject to government approval.

Releasing information about station sites, maintenance depots and the length of route located in tunnel, JR Central said that the 286 km route had been defined within a 10 m wide strip. Previously, the route had only been defined as a 3 km wide corridor.

Intermediate stations are planned at Sagamihara in Kanagawa prefecture, Kofu in Yamanashi prefecture, Iida in Nagano prefecture and Nakatsugawa in Gifu prefecture. In Tokyo, the terminus will be located at Shinagawa, with local media reporting that the two maglev platforms, each able to accommodate two maglev trains, will be built parallel to the existing Tokaido Shinkansen platforms.

Depots have been allocated a 50 ha site in the Toya district of Midori Ward in Sagamihara and a 65 ha plot of land near the Sendanbayashi district in Nakatsugawa.

Only 40 km of the route will be at grade or on viaduct, the remainder being built in tunnel as the route lies through Japan's central mountain ranges, including the southern Japan Alps. Even the surface sections may be covered by acoustic hoods to minimise transmission of noise to surrounding areas. In urban sections the tunnels may run as deep as 40 m underground. Special measures are envisaged to minimise the potential for damage from earthquakes - the alignment will cross a number of geological fault lines.

With services running at a maximum speed of 505 km/h, the proposed journey time from Shinagawa to the future underground maglev station below the existing Shinkansen station in Nagoya is 40 min. If work begins as planned, the line could be open in 2027. Extending the route to Osaka would cost a further ¥3·6tr with completion envisaged around 2045.

Before the announcement JR Central issued environmental consultation documents to local authorities along the route - the alignment cuts through seven prefectures and passes through 39 municipalities. Briefings for local residents are being arranged from September 20 to November 5, while project documents are being made available for the public to consult at environmental offices located along the route.

मौत का बना जंक्शन : नौ माह में दस जने काल का ग्रास
जंक्शन पर हुआ हादसा, ट्रैक से होकर प्लेटफार्म नं. एक से दो पर जा रही थीं

रेलवे लाइन क्रॉस करने के दौरान गुरुवार सुबह दो महिलाओं की मालगाड़ी की चपेट में आने से मौके पर ही मौत हो गई। सूचना मिलने पर जीआरपी मौके पर पहुंची और ट्रेन में फंसे महिलाओं के क्षत विक्षत शव को निकालकर ट्रैक सुचारू किया। पुलिस ने मृतकों का पोस्टमार्टम कराकर शव परिजनों के सुपुर्द कर दिया।

मलारना चौड़ निवासी कमला देवी (75) उनकी बहन के बेटे की बहू राजनगर निवासी भगवती देवी (62) के यहां आई हुई थी। दोनों को भगवती देवी के मूल गांव डूडीपुरा (सपोटरा) जाना था। सुबह करीब 4:45 बजे दोनों सवाई माधोपुर से मथुरा की ओर जाने वाली ट्रेन से नारायणपुर टटवाड़ा जाने के लिए प्लेटफार्म एक से दो पर जा रही थीं। इस दौरान भगवती देवी तो प्लेटफार्म पर चढ़ गई लेकिन कमला देवी चढ़ नहीं पाई। इस बीच लाइन नं. 3 से मालगाड़ी को आता देख भगवती देवी ने कमला देवी को हाथ से चढ़ाने का प्रयास किया लेकिन कमला देवी को बचाने के प्रयास में स्वयं भी ट्रैक पर गिर गईं और दोनों के मालगाड़ी की चपेट में आने से परखच्चे उड़ गए। सूचना मिलने पर जीआरपी मौके पर पहुंची और महिलाओं के शवों को ट्रैक से निकालकर सामान्य चिकित्सालय पहुंचाया, जहां उनका पोस्टमार्टम कराकर शव परिजनों के सुपुर्द किया।

कंज्यूमर लीगल हेल्प सोसायटी अध्यक्ष हरिप्रसाद योगी ने सवाई माधोपुर जंक्शन को मौत का जंक्शन बताया है। उन्होंने बताया कि एक प्लेटफार्म से दूसरे प्लेटफार्म पर जाने के दौरान 9 माह में 10 मौतें हो चुकी हैं। ऐसे में मौतों का ग्राफ बढ़ रहा है। बकौल योगी 13 अक्टूबर को दो महिलाओं की इसलिए मौत हुई क्योंकि एक नं. प्लेटफार्म पर आने वाली ट्रेन को ऐनवक्त पर 3 नं. प्लेटफार्म पर कर दिया गया। चार से पांच सौ मीटर लंबे प्रथम श्रेणी प्लेटफार्म पर एक ही छोर पर ओवरब्रिज है। ऐसे में एक किमी दूरी एवं सामान के साथ बुजुर्ग एवं बच्चे प्लेटफार्म की ऊंचाई कम होने के चलते तथा पूर्व में लगे बैरिकेट व जालियां हटा दिए जाने से आनन फानन में रेलवे लाइन क्रॉस करते हैं। वहीं रेलवे पुलिस की अनदेखी के चलते लाइन क्रॉस करने से मौतों का आंकड़ा बढ़ता जा रहा है। उन्होंने बताया कि एक ओर रेलवे प्रशासन यात्रियों को मुस्कान देने का वादा करता है, वहीं दूसरी ओर यात्री परिवारों के चेहरों से हमेशा के लिए मुस्कान छीन लेने की लापरवाही कब तक रहेगी। उन्होंने मानवाधिकार आयोग से इस बारे में शीघ्र कार्रवाई किए जाने की मांग की है।
