Around 100 km away from Kanpur Indore Patna Epress got derailed leaving 63 dead and more than 100 people injured till the last update.

Around 3AM near Pukhrayan morning 14 coaches of Indore – Patna Express went off track colliding with each other. Images shows that how badly coaches got mangled each other forming a pile.

As far railway is concerned, officials working hard to take out bodies from inside coaches and stranded passengers were taken to the nearest station and a special train from Patna will be sent to pick them up.

Railway minister Suresh Prabhu assured about strictest action and ordered an enquiry instantly.

Passengers are rescued from coaches with help of gas cutters. Railway will provide compensation to injured and dead passengers.

06041 / 06042 Chennai Central – Kollam - Chennai Central Special Superfast train will run from December 5 to 15.

06041 Chennai Central – Kollam will run on December 5, 7, 12 and 14. This train will depart from Chennai Central at 04:30PM and will arrive Kollam at 06:45AM in the morning.

06042 Kollam - Chennai Central will run on December 6, 8, 13 and 15. This train will depart from Chennai Central at 10:30PM in the night and will arrive Chennai Central at 12:00PM noon next day.

This train will comprise of two AC second class coaches, two AC Third class coaches and ten sleeper class coaches.

A special fare train is announced to clear the extra rush between Puducherry and Santragachi. This train will also cover Chennai Egmore.

06010 Puducherry – Santragachi will run from Puducherry on December 3 and 10. This train will depart on Saturday from Puducherry at 07:15PM and will arrive Santragachi at 04:30AM in the morning of Monday.

Train stoppages will be –

Villupuram, Chengalpattu, Tambaram, Chennai Egmore, Gudur, Nellore, o­ngole, Chirala, Tenali, Vijayawada, Eluru, Tadepalligudem, Rajahmundry, Samalkot, Duvvada, Vizianagaram, Srikakulam Road, Palasa, Brahmapur, Khurda Road, Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Bhadrak, Balasore and Kharagpur.

Southern railway has announced a special train between Chennai Egmore and Kollam to clear the rush of Sabrimala pilgrimage. This train will also carry special charge over base fare.

06051 Chennai Egmore – Kollam will run from Chennai on December 5 and 12. It will depart from Chennai at 08:00PM in the night and will arrive at Kollam at 11:45AM in the morning next day.

06052 Kollam – Chennai Egmore will run in December 6 and 13. It will depart from Kollam at 09:15PM in the night and will arrive Chennai Egmore at 01:15PM in the afternoon of next day.

Enroute stoppages for this train are –

Arakkonam, Katpadi, Jolarpettai, Salem, Erode, Tiruppur, Podanur, Palakkad, Thrissur, Aluva, Ernakulam Town, Kottayam, Tiruvalla, Chengannur and Kayankulam.

ऑफ सीजन में रेलवे अपनी प्रीमियम ट्रेनों में किराये को कम करने की तैयारी में है| अभी तक पर्व के समय फ़्लेक्सी प्रणाली से 56  करोड़ की अतिरक्त आय कर चुका रेलवे ये समझ चूका है हर समय ये प्रणाली काम नहीं आएगी| ऑफ सीजन में यात्रियों का आवागमन कम हो जाता है जिस वजह से राजधानी और दुरंतो जैसी लंबी दूरी की ट्रेनों की सीट खाली जाती हैं|
फ्लेक्सी प्रणाली की वजह से वैसे भी व्यस्ततम मार्ग जैसे दिल्ली मुम्बई, दिल्ली बेंगलुरु पर हवाई किराया और रेल किराया लगभग समान हो जाते हैं या 500  तक का ही अंतर रह जाता है जिस वजह से यात्री स्वतः ही हवाई यात्रा की तरफ चले जाते हैं|
रेलवे चाहता है की अगर ट्रेन के जाने वाले दिन से दो दिन पहले तक सीटें बची रह जाती हैं तो उन्हें भरने के लिए उनका किराया कम किया जाएगा जिससे सारी सीटें भारी जा सकें| ये सिर्फ रेलवे की प्रीमियम ट्रेनों पर ही लागू होगा|
साधारण ट्रेनों पर रेलवे ने वैसे भी फ्लेक्सी प्रणाली लागू नहीं की थी जिससे उन ट्रेनों में सफर करने वाले यात्रियों पर कोई प्रभाव नहीं पड़ा था|

भटिंडा - जोधपुर सवारी गाडी के पटरी से उतर जाने के कारण बारह यात्री घायल हो गए| किसी भी यात्री के मारे जाने की कोई खबर नहीं है| ये घटना बीकानेर खंड में आने वाले बीकानेर - सूरतगढ़ रेलवे ट्रैक पर राजियासर के पास हुई|
घटना की सूचना मिलते ही रेलवे पुलिस और स्थानीय अधिकारी तुरंत घटनास्थल पर पहुँच गए और घायलों को अस्पताल पहुँचाया जहाँ सभी यात्रियों को मामूली चोट बताकर सभी की छुट्टी कर दी गयी|
इस घटना की वजह से बीकानेर - सूरतगढ़ का मार्ग घण्टो बाधित रहा और बहुत सी ट्रेनों के मार्ग बदलने पड़े जिसमे जमूतवी एक्सप्रेस और कोटा श्री गंगानगर एक्सप्रेस शामिल हैं| इसके अलावा जो ट्रेन निरस्त कर दी गयीं वो हैं - 
जयपुर - सूरतगढ़ , लालगढ़ - अबोहर  पैसेंजर और दिल्ली - बीकानेर 
ट्रैक को अब पूरी तरह से दुरुस्त कर दिया गया है और ट्रेनों का आवागमन भी सुचारू ढंग से हो रहा है|

12 passengers got injured due to derailment of Bhatinda – Jodhpur passenger train in Sriganganagar district in Rajasthan.

Around 2AM in the morning today Bhatinda-Jodhpur passenger train derailed near Rajiyasar. Injured passengers were immediately taken to the nearest hospital for primary treatment.

Bikaner-Suratgarh railway track in Bikaner division was blocked for several hours due to this incident. After restoration work by Railway authorities the movement of trains are normal now.

Due to this incident several other trains like Kota Sriganganagar, Jammutavi express, Lalgarh-Abohar passenger, Jaipur-Suratgarh with Delhi Bikaner Express were diverted and cancelled.

Moment after intimation of derailment local railway authorities with police force rushed to the spot with food and medical assistance team.

फ्लेक्सी किराया प्रणाली के आने के बाद कितनी ही रिपोर्ट क्यों ना आ गयी हों की रेलवे को इससे भारी नुकसान हो रहा है इसलिए ये प्रणाली तुरंत ही हटा देनी चाहिए| परंतु रेल राज्य मंत्री राजेन गोहैन ने बताया की बीते दो महीने में राजधानी, शताब्दी और दुरंतो ट्रेनों में ये प्रणाली लागू करने के बाद 56 करोड़ का अतिरिक्त मुनाफा हुआ है|
नौ सितंबर 2016 से 31 अक्टूबर 2016 के बीच रेलवे को ये आमदनी हुई है | ध्यान देने वाली बात यी है की ये पर्व का समय था इसलिए भी यात्रियों को मजबूरीवश जाना पड़ रहा था पर अब इन ट्रेनों की सीटें खाली जा रही हैं|
राजधानी, दूरंतो और शताब्दी गाड़ियों के लिए फ्लेक्सी किराया प्रणाली की शुरुआत नौ सितंबर से की गयी थी. उन्होंने कहा कि अन्य नियमित ट्रेन सेवाओं में यह प्रणाली लागू नहीं की गयी है और इस योजना से आम जनता पर कोई प्रभाव नहीं पड़ा है.

अजमेर रेलवे स्टेशन पर देर रात पुलिस चेकिंग के समय चण्डीगढ़ जाने वाली गाड़ी से एक संदिग्ध व्यक्ति को गिरफ्तार कर लिया गया है| गिरफ्तार किया गए व्यक्ति के बैग से 22  लाख रूपए मिले हैं जिसका प्रमाण वह व्यक्ति देने में असमर्थ रहा है|
थानाधिकारी सम्पतराज ने बताया कि अजमेर से चंडीगढ़ जा रही ट्रेन में जब रेलवे पुलिस ने जांच अभियान चलाया तब सूरत के रहने वाले इस राजेश नाम के इस व्यक्ति के पास से पांच सौ और हजार के नोटों से भरा ये बैग मिला| इस व्यक्ति के पास न तो कोई लाइसेंस था और न ही कोई परमिट का कागज जो इन नोटों को लेजाने के प्रमाण स्वरुप दिखाया जा सके |
राजेश नाम के इस व्यक्ति को गिरफ्तार कर लिया गया है और पैसों के बारे में पूछताछ चल रही है|
