Special train between Puri and Somnath starting its trip from May 13 got additional stoppages as Srikakulama Road and Palasa in its list. Both in up and down direction this special train will also halt at these two stations as per details –

यात्रियों की भीड़ को देखते हुए पष्चिम मध्य रेलवे ने दो गाड़ियों अतिरिक्त डिब्बा अस्थाई रूप से लगाने का निर्णय लिया है| रीवा - हबीबगंज और कोटा - कटरा में एक शयनयान डिब्बे एक एक दिन के लिए लगाए जाएंगे जिसकी जानकारी नीचे दी हुई है -

• 12186  रीवा - हबीबगंज एक्सप्रेस में तेरह मई को
• 19803  कोटा - कटरा में तेरह मई को
• 12185  हबीबगंज - रीवा में चौदह मई को

Train number 12237 /12238 Varanasi – Jammu Tawi - Varanasi Begumpura Superfast Express was cancelled from May 12 to May 19 due to non-interlocking and doubling work on Lucknow-Sultanpur-Zafrabad section of Lucknow Division.

According to latest notification this train will now run via diverted route through Varanasi-Pratapgarh-Raebareli-Lucknow. According to railway officials, decision to run this train via diverted route is taken due to heavy passenger traffic.

3 hours of traffic block will be taken up till June 9 in Mangaluru Jn. – Padil - Jokatte Section for maintenance work.

During this period train number 16515 Yesvantpur- Karwar Express will be regulated for 30 minutes at Mangaluru junction on every Monday,Wednesday and 05 minutes on every Friday till June 9.

A night block will be taken on Up & Down fast lines from 00.30AM to 05.00AM during midnight of Saturday, 13th May, 2017 and Sunday, 14th May, 2017 between Churchgate and Mumbai Central local stations for maintenance of track, signaling and overhead equipments.

During the block all Up & Down fast line trains will run on Up & Down slow lines between Churchgate and Mumbai Central local stations.

Due to this, some Up & Down local trains will remain cancelled, the list of cancellation will be available with on duty Station Masters.

To meet heavy demand of travelers southern railway will augment extra coach this summer season in 6 trains as per details temporarily –

• 16687 Mangalore Central – Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra Navyug Express to get one extra Three AC coach from May 15 to June 26
• 16688 Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra – Mangaluru Central Navyug Express to get one AC three tier coach from May 18 to June 29
• 16093 Chennai Central – Lucknow Jn. Express to get on AC three tier coach from May 13 to July 1.
• 16094 Lucknow Jn. – Chennai Central Express to get one AC three tier coach from May 15 to July 3.
• 16031 Chennai Central – Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra Andaman Express to get one AC three tier coach from May 14 to June 29
• 16032 Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra – Chennai Central Andaman Express to get one AC three tier coach from May 16 to July 1.

Due to engineering work in Arakkonam yard till May 30 following trains will be affected –

• 22647 Korba – Thiruvananthapuram Express passing through Chennai Central will be regulated in May 14, 21 and 28
• 22645 Indore – Thiruvananthapuram Ahilyanagari Express passing through Chennai Central will be regulated on May 16, 23 and 30
• 12511 Gorakhpur – Thiruvananthapuram Raptisagar Express passing through Chennai Central will be regulated on May 15, 22 and 29.
• 43801 Chennai Beach – Arakkonam EMU train leaving Chennai Beach will be regulated till May 30.
• 12511 Gorakhpur – Thiruvananthapuram Raptisagar Express passing through Chennai Central will be regulated on May 12, 13, 19, 20, 26 and 27.
• 12521 Barauni – Ernakulam Jn. Express passing through Chennai Central will be regulated on May 17, 24 and 31.
• 22647 Korba – Thiruvananthapuram Express passing through Chennai Central will be regulated on May 18 and 25.
