चारधाम यात्रेसाठी खापरखेडा व नागपूर येथून गेलेले ४० प्रवासी गुरुवारी सुखरूप परतले . या यात्रेकरूंचे नागपूर रेल्वे स्थानकावर स्वागत करण्यात आले .

ओम ट्रव्हल्स व राहुल ट्रव्हल्सने खापरखेडा व नागपूरचे काही प्रवासी १० जूनला हरीद्वारला गेले होते . १६ जूनला गंगोत्रीला जाताना हे प्रवासी पुरात अडकले . त्यामुळे बरकोट येथे सहा दिवस यात्रेकरूंनी एका धर्मशाळेत काढले . त्यानंतर स्वतःचा बचाव करीत हे यात्रेकरून नागपूरकडे रवाना झालेत . मुसळधार पावसापासून व निसर्गाच्या प्रकोपासून वाचण्याकरिता होटेलच्या छताखाली ४ तास उभे राहण्यासाठी त्यांना पाच हजार रुपये मोजावे लागले .

पाण्याच्या बाटलीसाठी ४० रुपये , जेवणासाठी १५० रुपये , चहा २० रुपये अशा दराने त्यांना जीवनावश्यक वस्तूंसाठी पैसे मोजावे लागले . प्रशासकीय यंत्रणेकडून कोणतीही मदत मिळाली नसल्याचा संतापही यापैकी अनेक यात्रेकरूंनी व्यक्त केला .

AHMEDABAD: Two men were arrested by Government Railway Police officials posted at the Ahmedabad railway station at Kalupur. The men had allegedly abducted a train driver from the railway station on June 24.

Mahesh Baje, the train driver also moonlights as a Gujarati film director and an organizer of magic shows. Baje had collected Rs 50 lakh for the making of a Gujarati feature film but needed more money. "He had told many of his friends and acquaintances that he had collected a large portion of the money but would need another Rs 15 to 20 lakh to start filming," said a GRP official.

On June 24, four men met him at Ahmedabad railway station and offered to give him the required money. They asked him to accompany them. They took him to Gadhada in Bhavnagar district and kept him under illegal detention there.

The abductors called up his family members and demanded a ransom of Rs 50 lakh. The frantic family approached city police and a joint operation was launched with GRP officials to track Baje. The family kept negotiating with the abductors over the phone, while the cops tried to track them down. The negotiations proved rather fruitful as the kidnappers lowered their ransom demand to Rs 5 lakh and then to Rs 1 lakh.

When the kidnappers arrived at the predetermined spot in Saraspur to collect the ransom, plainclothesmen arrested them. "Nitin Solanki and Hitesh Parmar, two kidnappers were caught and Mahesh was rescued from their clutches. Two others are still absconding - Pankaj Rathod and Dhamah. Nitin and Hitesh say that the mastermind is Pankaj and he knew Baje and his filmmaking plans. All four have criminal historysheets and have been arrested earlier for a variety of criminal offences," said GRP officials.

बिलासपुर जोन के 22 शहरों में खुलेंगे रिजर्वेशन काउंटर
बिलासपुर. आने वाले दिनों में चुनिंदा शहरों के रेल यात्रियों को शहर के भीतर ही रिजर्वेशन की सुविधा मिलेगी। रेल प्रशासन ने जोन के 22 शहरों में पैसेंजर रिजर्वेशन सिस्टम (पीआरएस) लगाने का निर्णय लिया है। ये सभी काउंटर रेलवे स्टेशन से अलग शहर के भीतर और पोस्ट आफिस में खुलेंगे। रेल मंत्रालय ने 8 पीआरएस को मंजूरी दे दी है, जो इसी सत्र में शुरू कर दिए जाएंगे। 14 शहरों के प्रस्ताव को जल्द ही मंजूरी मिलने की उम्मीद है।

रेल प्रशासन का उद्देश्य रेलवे स्टेशन के रिजर्वेशन काउंटर पर भीड़ कम करना है। इसके लिए उन शहरों में रिजर्वेशन काउंटर खोलने का प्रस्ताव है, जो रेल लाइन से दूर हैं। इसी तरह रेलवे स्टेशन वाले शहरों में पोस्ट ऑफिस या फिर व्यस्ततम इलाके में रिजर्वेशन काउंटर खोले जाएंगे। दक्षिण पूर्व मध्य रेलवे ने जोन के 22 ाहरों का चयन किया और इसका प्रस्ताव रेल मंत्रालय को भेजा।

रेल मंत्रालय ने 8 शहरों में काउंटर खोलने के प्रस्ताव पर मुहर लगा दी है।
इन शहरों में रिजर्वेशन काउंटर की सुविधा वर्ष 2013 में ही मिलने लगेगी। इसके लिए रेलवे ने प्रक्रिया शुरू कर दी है। 14 अन्य शहरों के प्रस्ताव को मंत्रालय से मंजूरी की उम्मीद है। इसमें सांसद रुचि लेते हैं तो ये काउंटर भी जल्द मंजूर कर लिए जाएंगे।

मुख्य डाकघरों में होगा रिजर्वेशन : रेल मंत्रालय को जो प्रस्ताव भेजा गया है, उसके मुताबिक प्रदेश के 5 बड़े शहरों के मुख्य डाकघर में रिजर्वेशन काउंटर खोलने की योजना है। रेल मंत्रालय और डाक विभाग के बीच रिजर्वेशन टिकट के लिए करार हुआ है। इसका लाभ अब जोन के यात्रियों को भी मिलेगा। दक्षिण पूर्व मध्य रेलवे की तैयारी बिलासपुर, रायपुर, दुर्ग, भाटापारा और कोरबा के मुख्य डाकघरों में रिजर्वेशन काउंटर खोलने की है। यह सुविधा मिलते ही बिलासपुर में तीन रिजर्वेशन काउंटर हो जाएंगे। तहसील दफ्तर में काउंटर पहले से चल रहा है।

न्यू एयरपोर्ट टर्मिनल रायपुर, सूरजपुर रोड, नगर, कटोरा, मुंगेली, जशपुर नगर, अमरकंटक और करंजी

SWR CONDUCTS 53RD TOWN OFFICIAL LANGUAUGE IMPLEMENTATION COMMITTEE (TOLIC) MEETING ATHUBLI


The 53rd meeting of the Town Official Language Implementation Committee (TOLIC) presided over by Shri A.K.Mital, Chairman of the Town Official Language Implementation Committee & General Manager of South Western Railway was held at Railway Officers Club (ROC), Hubli o­n Wednesday, the 26th June, 2013. The meeting was also attended by all the Heads of Central Govt. Offices, Banks, Public Sector Undertakings etc. located in Twin cities of Hubli-Dharwad.
In his presidential address, Shri ASHOK KUMAR MITAL, the Chairman of the Town Official Language Implementation Committee & General Manager of South Western Railway, noted that Hindi has been given a status of official language of the Union of India  in constitution and provisions have been made in Official language Act and Rules  under the constitution that official work should be done originally in Hindi.He suggested the officers to write at least o­ne or two lines in Hindi language in their notings, endorsements, correspondence etc.daily, so that their subordinate officials can be motivated to write in Hindi. He emphasized the use of technology in propagation of Hindi by using Unicode and o­nline would definitely help all employees.
Shri Mital suggested the members of TOLIC to conduct various Hindi programmes under the common banner of TOLIC during Hindi fortnight/week to be observed during September in consultation with the sub-committee comprised of Hindi officers of various offices in the twin city.
Earlier, while welcoming the TOLIC members, Shri O.P. Khare, Vice Chairman of the TOLIC, Mukhya Rajbhasha Adhikari & Controller of Stores, South Western Railway, highlighted the achievements of the committee during the last six months.He further said that TOLIC is a forum which provides opportunities to member offices to jointly help and cooperate each other in achieving the targets prescribed in Annual Programme  by department of Official language and in conducting Hindi progrmmes under the auspices  of TOLIC.
Shri Ajay Kumar Shrivastav, Deputy Director(Implementation), Department of Official Language/Bangalore, who attended the meeting, reviewed the reports received from various offices and urged the members to send their Quarterly Hindi Progressive Report o­n o­nline.He also demonstrated how to register o­nline to Rajbhasha department portal by registering some offices.  He urged the members to send their reports in time for reviewing the same.
The Member Secretary of the TOLIC, Smt. C. Latha, Rajbhasha Adhikari, SWR submitted the Progress report through power point presentation and conducted a successful deliberations.The meeting concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by Shri Sachin.R.Jain,Rajbhasha Adhikari/Hqrs/Hubli.

Protesting against Senior Divisional Mechanical Engineer, members of Northern Raiway Men Union stopped trains near Ludhiana railway station on Friday. Shane punjab and Ajmer-Amritsar express were both stopped around 12.15 pm. Passengers had to face lot of harassment as protestors sat on dharna.

Weekly Superfast Summer Special Train  will run for another 4 trips upto 27.07.2013 when departing from Kolkata and 03126 Anand Vihar T.- Kolkata Weekly Superfast Summer Special Train  will run for another 4 trips upto 28.07.2013 when departing from Anand Vihar T. o­n same timings, composition, route, days of run etc.
