समस्तीपुर के सीनियर डीसीएम एमएआई हुमायूं ने बापूधाम मोतिहारी स्टेशन पर टिकट दलाली में धराए मुख्य आरक्षण पर्यवेक्षक बच्चा लाल को निलंबित कर दिया है। यहां बता दें कि पिछले दिनों सीआरएस श्री लाल सीआईबी और आरपीएफ की संयुक्त छापेमारी के दौरान टिकट दलाली करते पकड़े गये थे। श्री लाल फिलवक्त बेतिया मंडल कारा में बंद हैं। शुक्रवार को रेलवे मजिस्ट्रेट ने सुनवाई के दौरान उनका बेल रिजेक्ट कर दिया है। |

Indian Railways’ glorious sojourn that completed 160 years was captured in the just-concluded photo exhibition conducted by the South Central Railway at Salarjung museum.The week-long exhibition presented in 215 pictures the varied stages of the exciting journey of the steam engine, the iconic new age machine of transportation the Britishintroduced for its troop movements. From the chug-chug locomotive to the modern trains in a tearing hurry on electrical lines, the machine has transformed itself, serving millions of people every day.Nearly 10,000 footfalls had been recorded at the exhibition. The particular interest to everybody was the famous picture of Mahatma Gandhi travelling in a third-class compartment.Through this exhibition, the Indian Railways brought railway history under one roof as showcased in selected pictures. It provided a unique chance of knowing all about Indian Railways. How the tracks were laid, how the tunnels were made, how the bridges came into being were all presented in alluring pictures. Train services in Hyderabad were introduced in the seventh Nizam tenure.“People of all age groups are coming especially to take a look at the photo exhibition, from all over the State. Tourists who just came to visit the Salarjung Museum were amused and thrilled at the pictures,” said railway officer J Selvin. |

गोरखपुर : प्रतीक्षा सूची के यात्रियों की बढ़ती भीड़ को देखते हुए पूर्वोत्तर रेलवे प्रशासन ने दो जोड़ी मेल गाड़ियों में विभिन्न तिथि और स्टेशनों से अतिरिक्त कोच लगाने का निर्णय लिया है। मुख्य जनसंपर्क अधिकारी आलोक कुमार सिंह के अनुसार 12541 गोरखपुर-एलटीटी एक्सप्रेस में 26 व 27 को गोरखपुर से तथा 12452 एलटीटी-गोरखपुर एक्सप्रेस में 28 व 29 को लोकमान्य तिलक टर्मिनस से शयनयान श्रेणी के एक-एक कोच लगाए जाएंगे। |

ट्रेनों की अपडेट जानकारी के लिए राजधानी के लोगों को स्टेशन के इंक्वायरी काउंटर पर जूझने की जरूरत नहीं होगी। घर में टीवी पर ही उनको सभी ट्रेनों की पूरी स्थिति का पता चल जाएगा। इसके लिए रायपुर रेल मंडल के वाणिज्य विभाग की ओर से पहल की जा रही है। |

NAGPUR: After both the tracks were thrown open for traffic near Sindi Railway, between Nagpur and Sewagram, passenger train movement started rolling simultaneously on both the tracks that had been damaged due to rains on July 19.After a 17-hour mega block on Thursday-Friday, the railways set everything right on the 360 metre damaged section of the track. More than 1,000 employees, including 100 officers, worked round-the-clock under the supervision of DRM Brijesh Dixit.Central Railway PRO PD Patil informed that all the passenger trains will operate as scheduled and there will be no more diversion or short termination of trains. However, trains will continue to operate with speed restriction at the affected spot.Meanwhile, passengers of Delhi-Chennai Rajdhani Express who arrived in Nagpur on July 24, have blamed the railways' lack of communication for their hardship. "Rajdhani is the only train which has public announcement system inside. Yet, passengers were not informed about the diversion of trains. It was only at Bhusawal we learnt about it," said a passenger.The railways spent huge money on expanding IT network for sharing information and providing better services to the passengers but it failed to utilize the services in the hour of crisis. "Announcements should have been made at Delhi and other major stations in between but this was not done," complained Sunil Razdan, another passenger. |

फिरोजपुर के लोगों को 15 अगस्त से नई देश की राजधानी से जुड़ने के लिए एक और ट्रेन का तोहफा मिल सकता है। पूर्व रेलमंत्री पवन बंसल ने दो रेलगाड़ियों को मुक्तसर के माघी मेले में घोषणा की थी उसमें से इंटरसिटी नामक ट्रेन को चलाने के लिए मूर्त रूप देने की कोशिश की जा रही है। यह ट्रेन फिरोजपुर से सुबह 4.45 पर फिरोजपुर से चल कर दिल्ली के सराय रूहेला 10.45 मिनट पर पहुंचेगी। रेलवे के सूत्र बताते हैं कि सारी तैयारियां पूरी हो चुकी हैं लेकिन अभी दिल्ली से अधिकारिक तौर पर कोई आदेश नहीं आया है। किसी भी गाड़ी के चलने के दो दिन पहले दिल्ली से आदेश आता है। वहीं रेल मंडल प्रबंधक नरेश चंद्र गोयल का कहना है कि अभी दिल्ली से उन्हें कोई आधिकारिक सूचना नहीं मिली है। वहीं कांग्रेस के गुरुहरसहाय के विधायक राणा गुरमीत सिंह सोढ़ी ने बताया कि वे दिल्ली में इस मामले में लगातार प्रयास कर रहे हैं ताकि फिरोजपुर की जनता को कोई बड़ा तोहफा दे सकें। इस मामले में दोबारा 29 तारीख को रेल मंत्री मल्लिकार्जुन खडगे से फिर मिलने वाले हैं। उन्होंने कहा कि फिरोजपुर में पहले लोगों को जनता एक्सप्रेस के भरोसे रहना पड़ता था और उस ट्रेन के चलने से तमाम राहत मिलेगी। |
