गुड़गांव. नई दिल्ली-अहमदाबाद राजधानी एक्सप्रेस के ऑनलाइन टाइमटेबल में रेलवे ने अपनी चूक को सुधार लिया है। दैनिक भास्कर में खबर प्रकाशित होने के 10 दिन बाद आईआरसीटीसी ने राजधानी के ऑनलाइन टाइमटेबल में गुड़गांव स्टेशन को शामिल कर लिया है। इसके साथ ही अब यात्री गुड़गांव से ऑनलाइन आरक्षण की सुविधा ले सकेंगे। 12958/57 नई दिल्ली-अहमदाबाद स्वर्ण जयंती राजधानी एक्सप्रेस का पिछले साल दिसंबर में गुड़गांव स्टेशन पर स्टॉपेज शुरू करने के बावजूद रेलवे ने अब तक ऑनलाइन टाइमटेबल में गुड़गांव को शामिल ही नहीं किया था।

इलाहाबाद : ज्यादा दिन दूर नहीं जब इलाहाबाद-वाराणसी के बीच बिजली की ट्रेन दौड़ना शुरू कर देगी। रेल विद्युतीकरण संगठन इस कार्य को तेजी से पूरा करने में लगा हुआ है। अभी तक वाराणसी से इलाहाबाद जंक्शन तक खंभों में बिजली के तार खींचे जा चुके हैं। हालांकि कुछ स्थानों पर अभी थोड़ा-थोड़ा कार्य बाकी है। यह दिसंबर तक पूरा कर लिया जाएगा। सीआरएस निरीक्षण के बाद अगले वर्ष मार्च महीने तक इलेक्ट्रिक ट्रेन इस रूट पर दौड़ने लगेगी।
मुगलसराय को वाराणसी के साथ लखनऊ को जोड़ने की लगभग पूरी हो चुकी है। अब रेल विद्युतीकरण संगठन का पूरा ध्यान ऊंचाहार-वाराणसी एवं इलाहाबाद-वाराणसी परियोजना को पूरा करने पर है। इसमें ऊंचाहार से वाराणसी और फाफामऊ से इलाहाबाद जंक्शन तक खंभे लगाने एवं तार खींचे जाने का कार्य पूरा हो चुका है। कुछ स्थानों पर गड़बड़ी के कारण थोड़ा-थोड़ा कार्य बाकी है। इसे भी दिसंबर माह तक पूरा कर लिए जाने की योजना है। रेलमार्ग के अगल-बगल बिजली के तार पर आ रही पेड़ों की टहनियां काटी जा रही हैं। सूत्रों की माने तो यह कार्य दिसंबर माह तक पूरा कर लिए जाने की उम्मीद है। इसके बाद सीआरएस निरीक्षण कराया जाएगा। निरीक्षण में सबकुछ ठीक ठाक मिलने के बाद मार्च माह में इस रेल खंड को बिजली की ट्रेनों के लिए शुरू कर दिया जाएगा।

जीआरपी के सिपाही ट्रेन यात्रियों से जमकर अवैध वसूली कर रहे हैं। शनिवार को उन्होंने अमृतसर से दरंभगा जानेवाली शहीद एक्सप्रेस में सवार चार लोगों से शौचालय में बैठकर सफर करने का 'जुर्माना' वसूल लिया।
शनिवार की रात 12.30 बजे प्लेटफार्म तीन पर दरंभगा जाने वाली शहीद एक्सप्रेस की जनरल बोगी के शौचालय से जीआरपी कर्मियों ने चार लोगों को उतार लिया। उन्होंने अपना नाम राजेश दास निवासी कटिहार, उपेंद्र मांझी निवासी जयनगर, विजय मांझी जानकीपुर (नेपाल) और उदय साह समस्तीपुर बताया। जीआरपी कर्मियों ने धमकाते हुए कहा कि शौचालय में बैठकर यात्रा करना जुर्म है, इसके लिए जुर्माना देना पड़ेगा। बाद में उनसे सौ-सौ रुपये लेकर छोड़ दिया। यह घटना बानगी भर है। बिहार की ओर जाने वाली शहीद एक्सप्रेस, सत्याग्रह एक्सप्रेस, सद्भावना एक्सप्रेस, जननायक एक्सप्रेस व जनसेवा एक्सप्रेस में बिहार जाने वाले यात्रियों का जीआरपी और आरपीएफ कर्मी आर्थिक उत्पीड़न करते हैं। पुलिस अधीक्षक रेलवे रामकृष्ण भारद्वाज ने इस घटना कीं जानकारी से इन्कार करते हुए कहा कि इस मामले की जांच कराएंगे और ऐसे सिपाहियों को चिह्नित कराकर कार्रवाई की जाएगी।

केंद्रीय मंत्री कुमारी सैलजा की मांग पर नई ट्रेन का समय बदलने के लिए रेल अधिकारियों ने काफी माथापच्ची की, लेकिन समय में बदलाव नहीं हो सका। इन हालत से मंत्रीजी को अवगत करवा दिया गया है। माना जा रहा है इस ट्रेन का उद्घाटन इसी सप्ताह होगा। बता दें कि 9 अगस्त को अंबाला से वाया सहारनपुर होते हुए नई ट्रेन चलाई जानी थी। इसे केंद्रीय मंत्री कुमारी सैलजा ने हरी झंडी दिखाकर रवाना करना था। दिल्ली से इस ट्रेन का समय दोपहर डेढ़ बजे के करीब है। लोगों की मांग पर सैलजा ने समय शाम को करने की मांग की थी। समय न बदलने के कारण उन्होंने हरी झंडी नहीं दिखाई। इसी कारण रेलगाड़ी पटरी पर नहीं उतरी।
सूत्रों के मुताबिक, रेलवे बोर्ड और उत्तर रेलवे के अधिकारियों ने दिल्ली से रेलगाड़ी का समय बदलने के लिए प्रयास किए, लेकिन अन्य रेलगाड़ियों के कारण समय बदलना संभव नहीं है। रेलवे को आ रही परेशानी से केंद्रीय मंत्री को अवगत करवा दिया गया है। अब माना जा रहा है कि रेलगाड़ी जल्द ही पटरी पर होगी।
दिल्ली से राजधानी एक्सप्रेस सहित कई रेलगाड़ियां शाम को रवाना होती हैं। ऐसे में नई रेलगाड़ी शाम को नहीं चलाई जा सकती। इनमें अधिकांश रेलगाड़ियां लंबी दूरी की हैं। यदि, नई रेलगाड़ी को शाम का समय दिया गया तो इनमें से एक रेलगाड़ी का समय बदलना पड़ेगा। इसी कारण अधिकारी नई रेलगाड़ी दोपहर को ही चलाने के लिए मजबूर हैं।

सीतापुर। अगर आप सितंबर के आखिरी और अक्तूबर के पहले वीक में ट्रेन से दिल्ली आने-जाने की सोच रहे हैं, तो इरादा बदल दें। पूर्वोत्तर रेलवे के गोरखपुर ट्रैक पर प्रस्तावित प्री-नॉन इंटर लॉकिंग कार्य के कारण सत्याग्रह एक्सप्रेस ट्रेन 29 सितंबर से 6 अक्तूबर तक निरस्त कर दी गई हैं। इस अवधि में अप-डाउन ट्रेन यहां के ट्रैक पर नहीं दौड़ेगी।
बता दें कि सीतापुर में मीटर और ब्राडगेज दो रेलवे ट्रैक हैं। इनमें पूर्वोत्तर रेलवे लखनऊ एवं उत्तर रेलवे मुरादाबाद ट्रैक हैं। पूर्वोत्तर रेलवे के मीटर गेज ट्रैक पर ऐशबाग-बरेली तथा उत्तर रेलवे मुरादाबाद के ब्राडगेज ट्रैक पर गोरखपुर वाया सीतापुर कैंट दिल्ली को जोड़ता है। उत्तर रेलवे के ब्राडगेज ट्रैक पर सीतापुर से दिल्ली के लिए सत्याग्रह एक्सप्रेस चलती है। यह ट्रेन रात्रि ग्यारह बजे सीतापुर कैंट स्टेशन से दिल्ली के लिए रवाना होती है जबकि अगले दिन सुबह चार बजे वापस आती है। एक मात्र ट्रेन होने की वजह से लोग व्यापार के सिलसिले में सत्याग्रह एक्सप्रेस ट्रेन से दिल्ली को आते-जाते हैं। पूर्वोत्तर रेलवे के गोरखपुर ट्रैक पर प्री-नॉन इंटर लॉकिंग कार्य के चलते यहां के ट्रैक पर 29 सितंबर से 6 अक्तूबर तक सत्याग्रह एक्सप्रेस ट्रेन नहीं दौड़ेगी। रेलवे के मुताबिक 15273 रक्सौल-दिल्ली एक्सप्रेस ट्रेन 30 सितंबर से छह अक्तूबर तक तथा 15274 दिल्लीी-रक्सौल एक्सप्रेस ट्रेन भी 29 सितंबर से 5 अक्तूबर तक निरस्त रहेगी। इस अवधि में अप-डाउन दोनों ट्रेन बंद रहेगी।

Protests continued in the Rayalaseema districts of Kadapa, Chittoor and Anantapur and in the neighbouring Nellore district on Sunday, the day 12 of the agitation, taken up in support of Samaikyandhra.In the temple town of Tirupati, the day witnessed several protests by several organisations in various parts of the town.Following the rail roko call given by Samaikyandhra JAC on Sunday, the special party police and Railway Protection Force (RPF) in large number are deployed at the railway stations in Tirupati and Chittoor.Though hundreds of agitators came to the railway stations to obstruct trains, they beat a hasty retreat after the security personnel explained them about the cases and legal consequences involved, if they disrupt the movement of trains or squat on railway tracks.Tirupati YSRC MLA B Karunakar Reddy, who oragnised a dharna in the town, said that the temple town will not get its share of drinking water once the state is divided.“We are depending on Telugu Ganga for our drinking water needs. But, once the state gets bifurcated there will be no guarantee that we would get Telugu Ganga water as it has to pass several hurdles,’’ he said.Students of Sri Venkateswara University, leaders of Samaikyandhra Parirakshana Samithi, MSOs and other organisations continued their relay hunger protest camps and it became order of the day for several organisations to visit the camps for extending their solidarity.

The Tirupati JAC convener Prof V Srikanth Reddy said that all organisations under the umbrella of the Tirupati JAC protesting for the cause of Samaikyandhra will take up their activities from Monday after offering tributes to the Telugu Talli at Indira Maidan.

“We will begin our activity after singing our state anthem ‘Maa Telugu Talliki Mallepu Danda’ song,’’ he said.

The SVU students organised a human chain with dressed half-naked and the members of Tirupati body builders association showcased their body building talent on the road at Nalugu Kalla Mandapam as part of the protests. Meanwhile, the private schools association decided to reopen schools from Monday.

Shri Mallikarjun Kharge, Hon’ble Minister of Railways, today(10thAugust, 2013) flagged off a new train between Marikuppam and Bangalore City at Marikuppam Railway Station, in the august Presence ofShri K H Muniyapa, Hon’ble Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Micro, Medium and Small Enterprises.

Speaking o­n the occasion, Sri Mallikarjuna Kharge said that the new train between Marikuppam-Bangalore has fulfilled the long time aspiration of the local people.He said, to meet the demands of the people of Kolar Gold Field, DEMUs (Diesel Electrical Multiple Units) and MEMUS (Main Line Electrical Multiple Units) running between Marikuppam and Bangalore City will be replaced o­n first priority by fullfledged trains with 21 coaches, o­n getting new rakes.

Shri Kharge said, after his taking over as Railway Minister, an additional amount of Rs.300 Crs., has been sanctioned for the Railway Projects in the State, which is 45% more than the amount sanctioned previously to South Western Railway for its projects in the current budget.

The State Government had promised to provide Rs.271 Cr in the current year for the Railway Projects in the State. During the past four months, ithas released o­nly Rs.30 crores, and balance amount is due. He insisted that the State has to expedite release of its share of money and speed up acquisition of land for faster completion of all pending Railway projects in the state.

Regarding Kolar-Chikballapur Railway Line doubling work, the Minister said there are certain small hurdles that State Government has to clear. If this is done, the project can be commissioned within a record time.

Shri Kharge said, there are 368 Railway Projects to be cleared in the country out of which 178 are new projects. Rs.1,78,000 Crs.are needed to complete all these projects.He said, instead of announcing new projects, the completion of existing projects will benefit the people and for this, the State Governments and the public should co-operate.He said many of the schemes brought out by the government are for the poor and benefiting all class of people across the country.

Regarding commissioning of new line between Kuppam and Marikuppam, Shri Kharge said, 6 Kms of land has to be given by Karnataka and 13 Kms by Andhra Pradesh.Work can be started if the respective governments give land to railways.

Shri K. H. Muniyappa, Union Minister of State for Micro, Medium and Small Industries said, Supreme Court has up-held the Cabinet Decision of re-starting the Bharat Gold Mines.The decision will benefit thousands of workers.Suitable conditionsto benefit the workers will be incorporated in the Global Tender to be invited for starting the Mine.The highest bidder will be asked to settle the benefits and dues payable for the workers before starting the mine, he said.
He announced to sanction Rs.40 lakhs for opening two new halt stations at Chinna Kote and Khidu Kuda out of which Rs. 20 lakhs will be from his MP fund and 20 lakhs will be from the MLA fund of Shri Naseer Ahmed.

The ‘rail roko’ call given by the integrationists to bring pressure on the UPA Government hit the passenger turnout at the railway stations on Sunday. However, no major incidents were reported in view of the agitation.Police made elaborate security arrangements in and around the railway stations to avoid any inconvenience to the passengers.Heavy police forces were positioned at all the entry points to prevent the agitators from entering railway stations.Many passengers cancelled journey, and the platforms wore a desert look. There was no passenger rush in the trains and the South Central Railway provided escort with two parties for all the running trains. Police parties were attached to all the Station Masters. In Guntur, the protestors raised slogans in front of Simhadri Express, while the agitators entered Tenali station and shouted slogans in front of Janmabhoomi Express. The protestors criticised the Congress party for bifurcating the State. Police thwarted the efforts of the agitators to enter the railway stations in Anakapalle, Narsaraopet and Visakhapatnam, said Superintendent of Railway Police Ch. Syam Prasad Rao.“Train services were not affected in Guntur and Tenali stations as some protestors raised slogans in front of the halted trains.There were no reports of arson and the police have not registered any cases in Vijayawada division”, said Mr. Syam Prasad.The Railway Protection Force (RPF), Government Railway Police and the central forces would continue in the stations as a precautionary measure, said the police.
