Around 100 fear-struck youths and students of Nagaland, Manipur and Karbi Anglong (Assam) reached Dimapur Railway station and Dimapur Airport yesterday in the backdrop of threat perception prevailing particularly in the cities down south India.The youth, mostly employed in various service sectors in Bangalore, reached Dimapur.They reached Guwahati on special trains provided by the Karnataka Government.An assistance booth has been set up at the Dimapur Railway station by the district administration and police with assistance from the Dimapur Naga Students Union (DNSU).The Deputy Commissioner of Dimapur along with other administrative officers and Superintendent of Police and Sub-Divisional Police Officer were camping there since morning to personally monitor the arrival of the students and working youths from outside North East.The Nagaland Assistant Resident Commissioner in Guwahati was personally assisting the youth to secure rail tickets and see that they reach Dimapur safely.
