Mumbai: Western Railway (WR) will run 21 holiday special trains from Mumbai to Delhi,Ahmedabad,Jaipur,Okha and Madgaon,among other places.
WR chief public relations officer Sharat Chandrayan said,The special trains include fully AC trains to Delhi and Jaipur,besides Rajdhani-type services to Delhi.Special AC trains will run between Ahmedabad and Madgaon,while special Garib Rath will run between Ahmedabad and Jammu Tawi.
Five special trains will run on the Mumbai-Ahmedabad corridor and four on the Mumbai-Delhi route.While seats are available on the special trains,including Bandra(T)-Jaipur,Bandra(T)-Indore,Bandra(T)- Bhavnagar,Bandra(T)-Okha and Ahmedabad-Jammu Tawi,there is also the tatkal booking facility, he said.In seven regular trains,WR has attached extra coaches on a temporary basis while 283 coaches were attached on a day-to-day basis in September and will be added depending on requirement.
