Kurla Railway station a 25 year old woman died as she hit by a train after a man trying to snatch her chain pushed her off to railway tracks. Sapna Shukla, as identified by Railway Police, was standing on the platform waiting for the train when a man suddenly pushed her onto railway tracks while trying to snatch her chain. She was a resident of Suburban Ghatkopar and was on to her daily routine when this incident happened on platform number 1 of Kurla station. After she was hit by the train, she was immediately taken to hospital where she was declared dead. The man (accused) was chased down by the people and police and was booked under section 304 of IPC that says culpable homicide not amounting to murder.
