When Delhi was on high alert, CISF detained a woman at Chandni Chowk Metro station allegedly carrying a pistol inside the packaging of the music system. The pistol was country made. After detainment, the women was handed over to Delhi Police who interrogated extensively. A senior police officer said that women claimed innocence and said she do not know about the pistol and how it came inside the music system packing. She bought the music system from a person in Tees Hazari market for 300 rupees and had no knowledge of pistol inside the packing. A team of CISF interrogated women for several hours after which she was let off. Delhi police also registered a case and filed FIR against the man who sold the music system to woman, a resident of Jahangirpuri. Police will also scan the CCTV footage of area where the woman met the man who sold her the system. | ||
