To carry out maintenance work of signalling system and overhead equipment between Santacruz and Goregaon station, Western Railway has imposed a mega block today on January 8. Although work was carried out till 03:35PM on fast track but some local trains remained cancel which caused inconvenience to commuters. Western railway carries out all its maintenance work on fast track or slow track only on Sundays as load on suburban trains remain way below than compared to working days. All fast line trains that were not cancelled by Western railways ran on slow lines between the two stations. Railway authorities has issued a list of cancelled trains that was available with station masters for the convenience of commuters. | ||
