Two people were killed on Tuesday when a coach of the Gulbarga-Sholapur passenger train caught fire at Gulbarga station in Karnataka, an official said here.The cause of the fire is not known.“Two people have died and six have been injured in the incident,” railway ministry spokesperson Anil Saxena told IANS.The injured have been admitted to the Gulbarga Civil Hospital.Railway sources said a second class coach of the Falaknuma-Gulbarga train caught fire at 1.45 p.m. while it was at the Gulbarga station.The blaze erupted when some passengers were inside the train.The fire was brought under control in an hour. |
