The Secunderabad Railway police on Wednesday released the identities of eight suspects wanted in the train robbery that took place at Dornakal on Sunday and declared a reward for anybody who could help them find the offenders. Police said the gang of robbers was based in Nagpur, Maharashtra, and was arrested by the Dornakal Railway police in 2010, released from jail in 2011. They have become active once more, committing similar offences in Maharashtra and AP. Their modus operandi was to sell flowers and fruits on trains during day and rob people at night. The names of the accused were given as, Valchand Solanki, 38, Harlala Solan-ki, 70, Kishore Solanki, 28, Kaniyalal, 20, Daniya Rathod, 35, all residents of Umrithtekri, Nagpur, Sube Singh, 35, a resident of Panipat, Haryana, V. Annda Rao, 27, and M. Ananda Sawant, 24, both residents of Washim, Maharashtra. |
