South Eastern Railway and South Central Railway have jointly supervised a special train between Tatanagar and Hyderbad’s Kacheguda railway Station to cope up with festive season rush. There is so much rush this festive season that Puja Special Express from Tatanagar to Kacheguda will make 16 trips from September end to mid of November. From Tatanagar this train will depart on - September 27, October 4, 11, 18, 25, November 1, 8 and 15 on its scheduled departure time 10:50 PM in the night. It will reach Kacheguda in the morning 5AM on second day from the day of its departure. From Kacheguda the schedule departure days for Puja Special train are October 3, 10, 17, 24, 31, November 7 and 14. The departure time from Kacheguda is 1 PM in the noon and it will reach Tatanagar 7:45 PM on the very next day of its departure. There are about 30 stoppages decided by the Indian railway in between Tatanagar and Kacheguda which includes – Banspani, Jaroli, Sukinda Road, Berhampur, Srikakulam Road, Cuttack, Bhubaneshwar, Khurda Road, Rajahmundry, Vijayawada, Dongaposi, Vijayanagaram, Visakhapatnam, Duvvada, Chaibasa, Anakapalli, Samalkot, Guntur, Nalgonda and Malkajgiri. The 18-coach special train will include Sleeper, AC 3 tier and AC 2 tier. Tickets of this train will also carry a special fare over the regular ones. Apart from this train SER has already announced two Durga Puja special trains that will run on weekly basis on Tatanagar-durg routes and Santragachi-Gondia, via Tatanagar. |
