AHMEDABAD: Keeping in view the additional rush during Diwali festival, the western railways to clear extra rush during the festive season and facilitate passengers, has decided to run special trains for the benefit of passengers from Bandra Terminus to Jodhpur. the train will pass through Ahmedabad.According to Railways, the train from Bandra to Jodhpur train will depart from Bandra at 12.15 am on 24th and 27th November,2012 and reach Jodhpur at 8.25 pm on same day.Similarly in return journey, the train will leave Jodhour on same a day that is 24 and 27 November, at 9.30 pm and will arrive Bandra at 4.25 pm the next day.The train will halt at Borivali, Surat, Vadodara, Anand, Ahmedabad, Mahesana, Palanpur, Abu Road, Sirohi road, Falna, Marwar and Luni in both directions. The train will have AC III Tier, sleeper class and General second class coaches.Also for the for the comfort & convenience of its commuters, Western Railway has augmented 26 suburban services from 9 car service to 12 car service. With this increase, the total number of 12 car services on Western Railway has now gone up to 1116 services per day. With the conversion of these 26 services from 9 car to 12 car, additional room will be created for more than 38 thousand commuters. |
