South Western Railway will operate special trains and augment existing services for Dasara.According to a release, a special train will run between Mysore and Bangalore on Wednesday. It will leave Mysore at 10.25 p.m. and reach Bangalore at 2 a.m. A special train between Mysore and Chamarajanagar will leave Mysore at 8.40 p.m. on Wednesday and reach Chamarajanagar at 10.40 p.m. The corresponding pairing rake will depart from Chamarajanagar at 10.35 p.m. and arrive in Mysore at 12.15 a.m.Train no. 06203 Mysore–Hubli One Way Express special will leave Mysore at 8.10 p.m. on Wednesday and arrive in Hubli at 5 a.m. Thursday. Meanwhile, train 06901 Vasco-da-Gama–Mysore special will leave Vasco-da-Gama at 8.45 p.m. on Tuesday and arrive in Mysore at 11 a.m. Wednesday.Coaches in some trains have been increased till Thursday: train no. 17301 Mysore–Dharwad Express and train no.17302 Dharwad–Mysore Express will have an additional general second class. Train no. 56269/56270 Mysore–Shimoga–Mysore Passenger and train no. 56263/56264 Mysore–Bangalore–Mysore Passenger, as well as the Mysore–Chamarjanagar passenger, Mysore–Nanjangud Town Passenger and Mysore–Shravanabelagola Passenger trains will have two additional general second class bogies for the benefit of the public. |
