South Western Railway will run two special passenger trains between Bangalore City and Tumkur on Sundays. These trains will commence operations from September 15.According to an SWR release, the Bangalore City–Tumkur Passenger Special (train no. 06221) will leave Bangalore at 9.20 a.m. and reach Tumkur at 11.05 a.m. In the return, Tumkur–Bangalore City Passenger Special (train no. 06222) will leave Tumkur at 11.20 a.m. and reach Bangalore City at 1.10 p.m.These special trains will run on the route and timings of Bangalore–Tumkur–Bangalore Passenger (train no. 56221/56222).

Second train

Similarly, the Bangalore City–Tumkur Passenger Special (train no. 06225) will leave Bangalore City at 1.40 p.m. and reach Tumkur at 3.25 p.m. In the return, the Tumkur–Bangalore City Passenger Special (train no. 06226) will leave Tumkur at 3.50 p.m. and reach Bangalore City at 5.40 p.m.The special trains will run to the path and timings of Bangalore–Tumkur–Bangalore Passenger (train no. 56225/56226).
