In addition to the Ex-Gratia of Rs. 5 Lakhs announced for the deceased by South Central Railway, an Ex- Gratia of Rs. 1 Lakh will be paid to the grievously injured and an Ex- Gratia of Rs. 25,000 will be paid to the simple injured passengers.

South Central Railway made all efforts to ascertain the safety / present position of the passengers who have travelled in S-11 Coach of Train No.12622 New Delhi-Chennai Tamil Nadu Express whichinvolved in a fire accident near Nellore Railway Station o­n 30th July 2012.
