The Central Railway has announced six special trains from Mumbai to Velankanni in view of the forthcoming festival at the basilica .In a press release here, G.V.Venkatesanm ,Public Relations Officer Salem Division of the Southern Railway said that the following special trains have been announced.On the Lokmanya Tilak Terminus-Velankanni-Lokmanya Tilak Terminus route: Train No. 01041 would leave Lokmanya Tilak Terminus at 11.20 hrs on August 25 and would reach Velankanni at 21.45 hrs the following day. Train No.01042 would leave Velankanni at 20.30 hrs on August 27 and would arrive at Lokmanya Tilak Terminus at 10.15 hrs the following day.Train No. 01043 would leave Lokmanya Tilak Terminus at 11.20 hrs on August 26 and would reach Velankanni at 21.45 hrs the following day. Train No. 01044 would leave Velankanni at 20.30 hrs on August 28 and would arrive at Lokmanya Tilak Terminus at 10.15 hrs the following day, the release added.Dadar (T)-Velankanni-Dadar(T) special trains would run as follows. Train No.01045 would leave Dadar (T) at 11.15 hrs onn August 27 and would reach Velankanni at 21.45 hrs next day.Train No. 01046 special would leave Velankanni at 20.30 hrs on August 29 and would arrive at Dadar (T) at 10.00 hrs the following day.
