The Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL) on Monday handed over a cheque for Rs. 6.38 crore to the South Central Railway towards conducting the final location survey for the Bhadrachalam Road – Sattupalli new railway line.

CMD of SCCL Sutirtha Bhattacharya handed over the cheque to SCR General Manager G.N. Asthana. In a press release, the SCCL said the Bhadrachalam Road – Sattupalli new railway line was an important project planned to facilitate smooth movement of coal from Sattupalli in Singareni Collieries.
