Shobha Mote – a constable in Railway Protection Force got second experience of delivering a baby at Thane station. At Thane station Mote was manning a scanning machine when she heard a woman in pain on the platform. Once she approached she realized that woman is under labour pain after which she immediately arranged blanket and first aid kit to help 24 year old Meenakshi Sandesh Jadhav. Later her husband Sandesh told that they already registered her name at a Rajawadi hospital and Meenakshi was not due to deliver for another 25 days. He also told that incidentally their first child was also born in autorickshaw. Mote earlier helped deliver a baby at CST when she was posted there. |
