Railway Protection Force (RPF) celebrated its 28th Raising Day at a colourful function organised at RPF Training Centre, Moula-Ali.The Raising Day is celebrated to commemorate the conferring of Armed Force status on Railway Protection Force on par with other Paramilitary forces of the Union of India. G.N. Asthana, General Manager, South Central Railway was Chief Guest and B.Mohan, Inspector General cum Chief Security Commissioner, SCR was Guest of Honour. Mr. Asthana received the guard of honour by inspecting the Parade of the RPF contingent. He presented the Director Generals Insignia to the six awardees in recognition of their meritorious service. Addressing on the occasion, Mr. Asthana urged the Railway Protection Force personnel to be more vigilant to eliminate crimes against passenger and railway properties, said a press release. | ||
