Routes of eight new trains have been fixed under Mukhyamantri Teerth-Darshan Yojna with a view to taking maximum number of senior citizens to pilgrimage centres. These trains will start from various places between January 11 and 31. It is noteworthy that schedule for 44 trains for pilgrimage from various places of Madhya Pradesh has been released so far.As per schedule, a train will leave from Shivpuri for Jagannath Puri on January 11, Katni to Shirdi on January 12, Rewa to Rameshwaram on January 17, Datia to Dwarka Puri on January 18, Katni to Tirupathi on January 24, Shajapur to Rameshwaram on January 24, Damoh to Dwarka Puri on January 31 and Guna to Rameshwarm on January 31.Train from Shivpuri to Jagannath Puri will carry 442 pilgrims from Shivpuri district, 325 from Guna and 221 from Ashok Nagar. Katni-Shirdi train will carry 257 pilgrims from Katni, 500 from Jabalpur and 222 from Narsinghpur district. Train to Rameshwaram from Rewa will carry 486 pilgrims from Rewa, 268 from Katni and 226 pilgrims from Narsinghpur. Datia-Dwarka Puri train will carry 280 pilgrims from Datia and 709 fro Gwalior district.Similarly, Katni-Tirupathi train will carry 257 pilgrims from Katni, 500 from Jabalpur and 222 from Narsinghpur district. Shajapur to Rameshwaram train will carry 312 pilgrims from Shajapur, 303 from Ratlam, 213 from Jhabua and 151 pilgrims from Alirajpur district. Damoh-Dwarka Puri train will carry 240 pilgrims from Damoh, 459 from Sagar and 280 pilgrims from Vidisha district. Train to Rameshwaram from Guna will carry 245 pilgrims from Guna, 340 from Shivpuri and 400 pilgrims from Gwalior. |
