The Union Ministry of Railways after taking into consideration various factors and feasibility studies has decided to run following pairs of long distance weekly express trains via Visakhapatnam Railway station. According to East Coast Railway (ECR) Waltair Division Commercial Manager B Ramana Rao, Bhubaneswar-Pune-Bhubaneswar hitherto running via Duvvada Railway Station will run via Visakhapatnam from July 4. Train Number 12582 Bhubaneswar-Pune weekly super-fast express will leave Bhubaneswar on every Tuesday at 2210 hrs and will reach Visakhapatnam on Wednesday at 0440 hrs. It will depart from Visakhapatnam at 0500 hrs and reach Pune the next day at 0500 hrs. Similarly the train number 12581 Pune-Bhubaneswar weekly super-fast express will leave Pune on every Thursday at 1115 hrs and will reach Visakhapatnam on Friday at 1025 hrs. From Vishakhapatnam it will depart at 1045 hrs with effect from July 6 and will reach Bhubaneswar the same day at 0535 hrs.
