Agartala, July 25 (PTI) Railway services between Lumding in Southern Assam and Tripura, Mizoram and Manipur has been restored, official sources said today. A goods train carrying wagons of sugar reached here yesterday following clearance of debris and rubble and passengers trains services will also resume soon, sources in NF Railways said. Due to heavy torrential rains, landslides occurred in at least 90 places on the railway tracks between Lumding in Southern Assam and Tripura, Mizoram and Manipur on June 25 leading to suspension of train services. The tracks and bridges were damaged badly due to inundation it would take one or two days more to restore the passengers service, the sources added. | ||
