INDORE: The process of registering crime record and control room messaging system at railway police force (RPF) offices in Central and Western railway have gone online. Based on this pilot project, the RPF security management system is expected to be implemented across all zones in the country latest by 2015.Sources from the RPF office at Indore said that the paper works involved in registration of crime record is now being done online and the report is being sent to headquarter in Mumbai. DIG (projects), RPF, PC Sinha is monitoring the work. Sources said that the Rs 4 crore project will replace the paper work pattern by a paperless system through railnet service of the Indian railways.Under Ratlam division, the process has started in Indore, Ratlam, Ujjain, Mhow and Dahod.Bairagarh RPF has started working on the centralized system.Senior Commandant, RPF, Ratlam Sachin Bhalode told ToI that the control room messaging service and maintaining crime record registers at various RPF stations are being done on the security management system. | ||
