You might have heard music in some Shatabdi Express trains while travelling; basically it used to be some classical instrumental or sometimes songs which are outdated. Things might change now as Indian railways are in talks with some private firms to start such service in more than 1000 trains. Once installed it will not only play your favorite latest songs of bollywood, but it will also be used to announce station names, upcoming stations or routes. Also it can be used by Loco Pilot and train guard in case of any emergency announcement. However railway is not in the mood to invest on its own; the service will totally be offered by private firms who will be finalized to invest and operate. | ||
