In Kolkata Railway board members took a ride in metro and interacted with passengers to know that exact ground reality of metro stations and facilities it provides.

Railway board members went Park Street station and interacted with people at booking counters to know the experience of passengers. Members also tried to understand problems faced by passengers if any. Some passengers pointed out the need of more AC coaches to which technical department clarified that Metro is gradually replacing old rakes with new AC ones.

At Mahanayak Uttam Kumar station members visited food stalls outside the platforms. Mohd. Jamshed one of the board member asked a passenger munching a chicken patty about the taste to which he replied - had it been warm, it would tasted even better. Jamshed directed food stall owner to provide a fresh patty properly to the costumer. He also directed traffic department officials to take care of the service passengers receive.
