In a bid to check touting of railway tickets, the Railway Protection Force (RPF) along with the vigilance department of Central Railway conducted a raid in Grant road on Thursday. The team is learnt to have found tickets worth Rs.6, 47, 751 at a Grant Road-based travel and tour operator. According to the railway officials, the company, which predominantly caters to schools for picnics and tours, was found to have 231 railway tickets with it. Four officials from the company have been apprehended in the joint raid. The case is under enquiry. | ||
