MUMBAI: The Western Railway will carry out a rail block for launching of steel girders for foot-over-bridge between platform numbers 1 and 2 on Sunday at Palghar station.

Said WR chief spokesperson Sharat Chandrayan, "The block will be taken on UP and Down Main line from 10.30 am to 2.45 pm at Palghar for the work of launching the two steel girders for south-end FOB. Due to the block, some of the trains running between Virar and Dahanu, Borivli and Dahanu, and Churchgate and Dahanu will be cancelled.

Some long distance trains will also be delayed by five minutes to 55 minutes due to the block, he said." assengers are requested to please take note of the above and cooperate with the railway administration," he added.
