Soon conventional coaches will be replaced from Puri - Ahmedabad Express and Puri - Howrah Express from LHB coaches. This will be done to improve passenger’s safety. Equipped with 'anti-telescopic' technologyLHB coaches prevent crumpling and piling on top of each other in case of accident. Besides its safety tech these coaches can also be operated at considerable higher speed when compared from conventional coaches. Currently trains like Rajdhani, Shatabdi, Purushottam Express and Durunto Express run with LHB coaches. From June 14 and 16 train number 18405 / 06 Puri - Ahmedabad - Puri Express will be operated with LHB coaches and train number 12888 /87 Howrah - Puri - Howrah Express will be operated with LHB coaches from June 18 and 19. | ||
