DMU train between Pune and Daund can start from mid – February. First trial run on 74km route was completed on Tuesday by Central Railway – Pune division. In its first trial run, a 10 – coach train started at 07:37AM from Pune and was back at 12:15PM. Each coach has 108 seating capacity out of which 40 seats will be reserved for women. Apart from sitting every coach can also carry 140 standing passengers in case if required. An electronic display system and bio-toilets are also installed in every coach. Announcements will also be made for the 15 stations that will come enroute between Pune and Daund. | ||
