बीना (सोनभद्र): कृष्णशिला रेलवे स्टेशन के समीप सोमवार की रात्रि कोयला लदी मालगाड़ी के बेपटरी हुई 5 वैगन में से 3 को लाइन पर लाया गया जबकि अन्य दो को लाइन के किनारे गिराकर संचालन व्यवस्था दुरूस्त कर कोयला ढुलाई का कार्य शुरू किया गया।
सोमवार की रात्रि कृष्णशिला रेलवे स्टेशन के आउटर सिगनल के पास राजस्थान (कोटा) के लिए कोयला लेकर जा रही मालगाड़ी के 5 वैगन पटरी से नीचे उतर गए थे। रेलवे एवं बीना परियोजना ने युद्धस्तर पर ट्रेक पर यातायात बहाल करने हेतु अनुरक्षण कार्य शुरू किया। 3 वैगन कोयला लोड होने के साथ काफी क्षतिग्रस्त हो गई थी। अथक प्रयास के बावजूद 2 बोगियों को पटरी पर नहीं लाया जा सका। अधिकारियों ने विचार-विमर्श कर दोनों बोगियों को रेल लाइन के किनारे गिराने का निर्णय लिया। तब जाकर कहीं उक्त रेल लाइन पर मंगलवार की रात्रि 11 बजे संचालन शुरू हो पाया। रात्रि में ही बीना से 2 रैक कोयला अनपरा के लिए एवं कृष्णशिला से एक रैक कोयला ओबरा के लिए भेजा गया।

But that’s how the game is played, on the field and beyond. Even giants have to pay for profligacy.The goal came in 75th minute and all credit goes Henry. Latching on to the ball near the centre cycle, Henry played a ‘wall’ pass with a teammate, outran United SC’s Anupam Sarkar and Dhanchandra Singh, and then slotted a diagonal grounder coolly past Sangram Mukherjee.Before and after the goal depicted two different pictures of United SC. In the first 75 minutes the only notable effort that Sanjoy Sen’s wards managed was a powerful long-ranger from Mohammed Rafique which was thwarted by the horizontal.Never for once did the men in purple looked like a team which wanted to win. Even when the midfielders failed to knit ground passes, the ‘wings’ did not flap. In fact, one Eastern Railway ploy which deflated United SC’s efforts was never to be lenient with the ball-possession. The chased everything and that helped them hunt down the mighty-on-paper United SC.

After the goal, there was urgency among Sanjoy’s players, but unfortunately there was no Ranty Martins (injured), who could change moves into goals.

What was Carlos doing? Well, he weighed heavy on his team. He is certainly a heavyweight… Some would say overweight!

  Indian Railways News  / Special Guwahati-Bangalore train to run Sep 1

Guwahati, Aug 29, 2012, (IANS) A special train from Guwahati to Bangalore will run Sep 1 to help people from the northeast return to their places of study or work in southern states after their mass exodus over fear of attacks.

The train, with 14 sleeper class coaches, will leave Guwahati railway station at 1.15 p.m. Saturday, said a Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) official Wednesday.

The train service is being started after the Assam government asked the railways to help thousands of students and workers who had arrived home from Bangalore, Hyderabad and other southern cities following rumours of a backlash over the ethnic clashes in Assam.

A railway official said they might run more such trains if there was a demand. Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister R. Ashoka visited Assam and Manipur Aug 25-26 to assure northeastern states of the security in Bangalore and requested the people to return and resume their work and studies.

Ashoka asked Assam Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi to arrange for special trains to facilitate the return of the people to Bangalore and other places.

Personnel of the Department of Labour and the Government Railway Police jointly rescued seven boys and two adults from the clutches of a mason, who was allegedly taking them to Chennai to employ them in construction activity as bonded labourers.

Pandi Srinu of Kaikaluru in Krishna district was allegedly taking the nine persons by train. When the train was on a platform in Vijayawada, Assistant Commissioner of Labour D. Anjaneya Reddy, GRP Deputy Superintendent of Police D.N. Mahesh, and Circle Inspector K. Chiranjeevi, acting on a tip-off, took them into custody. Pandi Srinu, however, escaped, the police said.

The boys, all aged below 15, hailed from the ST Colony in Kankipadu. They were being taken to Chennai to be employed there as construction workers, the Labour Department officials said. Cases had been registered against Srinu and the victims shifted to a rescue home.
