हंसडीहा-मंदारहिल रेल लाइन तैयार
हंसडीहा, संवाद सूत्र : मंदारहिल रामपुरहाट नई बडी रेल लाइन परियोजना के प्रथम चरण का कार्य यानी बिहार के बौंसी से झारखंड के हंसडीहा के बीच 24 किलोमीटर तक रेल लाइन बिछाने का कार्य पूरा हो चुका है। निर्माण कार्य पूरा हो जाने के बाद रेलवे द्वारा केन्द्रीय सुरक्षा आयुक्त (सीआरएस) जांच कराने की तैयारी की जा रही है। बताया जा रहा है कि आठ अगस्त से 12 अगस्त के बीच सीआरएस जांच कराए जाने की तैयारी है। हालांकि रेलवे ने अभी तक अधिकारिक तौर पर सीआरएस जांच की तिथि तय नहीं की है। पर रेलवे सूत्रों की माने तो स्वतंत्रता दिवस के अवसर पर लोगों को हंसडीहा से भागलपुर की यात्रा रेलगाड़ी से कराने का तोहफा देने की तैयारी भी लगभग की जा चुकी है। कमिश्नर आफ रेलवे सिक्यूरिटि के आगमन को लेकर ही पिछले कुछ दिनों से रेलवे विजिलेंस के अधिकारी लगातार तकनीकी कार्यो की निरीक्षण करने में जुटे हैं। वहीं पूर्व रेलवे के मालदा डिविजन के चीफ इंजीनियर आर के यादव एवं एइएन एस.के. मोइत्रा सीआरएस को लेकर यहां कैंप किए हुए हैं। यहां बता दें कि मंदारहिल-हंसडीहा रेल लाइन का कार्य पूरा हो जाने के बाद मालगाड़ी का परिचालन शुरू हो गया है। सप्ताह में दो दिन मालगाडी से पत्थर की ढुलाई की जा रही है। मंदारहिल स्टेशन और हंसडीहा जंक्शन के बीच पांडे टोला हाल्ट (श्यामबाजार) व कमराडोल हाल्ट भी बनकर तैयार है।

As announced in the Railway Budget, Asansol-Chennai Central Weekly Express Train has been introduced. o­n its regular run, this train will depart Asansol o­n Wednesdays and departs Chennai Central o­n Fridays.Accordingly, Train No.12376 Asansol-Chennai Central Weekly Express will depart Asansol at 16 00 hrs o­n Wednesdays with effect from 1st August, 2012 and will arrive Chennai Central at 22 45 hrs o­n the next day. In the return direction, Train No.12375 Chennai Central-Asansol weekly Express will depart Chennai Central at 14 35 hrs o­n Fridays and arrive Asansol at 21 55 hrs o­n the next day.Passing through South Central Railway system, this train will stop enroute at Joychandi Pahar, Purulia, Chakradharpur, Rourkela, Jharsuguda, Sambalpur, Bargarh road, Balangir, Titlangarh, Kesinga, Muniguda, Rayagada, Parbatipuram, Bobbili, Vizianagaram, Visakhapatnam, Samalkot, Rajahmundry, Eluru, Vijyawada, Tenali, o­ngole, Nellore, Gudur, and Sullurupeta.

Three years on, a railway overbridge at one of the busiest places in Titilagarh is yet to be completed. The construction company, which managed to complete less than half of the project, has abandoned it.An official of the public works department (PWD) said that work would resume only after a new firm was selected through a fresh tender. The overbridge is important because it will ease the traffic situation in the town to a great extent.Sources said the estimated cost of the project was Rs 14 crore when it started in 2009. The Raipur-Gopalpur national highway (NH-59) passes through Titilagarh.Titilagarh is a busy railway junction in western Odisha and the level crossing gate remains closed most of the time creating serious traffic problems.“Construction of the railway overbridge in Titilagarh is a welcome move by the government. It is sad that it has not been completed even after three years because of the indifference of both the government and the construction company. When completed, it will solve traffic problems of the town to a great extent,” said Sutanu Sahu, a resident of Hatpadapada area of the town.Haribandhu Mishra, another local resident, said there were important establishments on both sides of the level crossing where the overbridge was being constructed. “While on one side there are the business houses, on the other are the daily and weekly markets, the DAV College and the Powmex steel factory. The overbridge will serve as a lifeline to the commuters of both sides when complete. But the half-complete bridge is creating even more traffic problems,” Mishra said.The project was initially delayed because of a lack of coordination between the PWD, Western Electricity Supply Company of Odisha Limited and the railway departments. But the project work completely stopped after the construction company backed out of the project for unknown reasons.Assistant engineer of Titilagarh PWD Himanshu Mandal said if everything went right, the bridge would have been ready by now. “We are planning to invite fresh tenders from interested firms. The work can resume only after a new firm is selected,” he said.

बक्सर, जागरण संवाददाता : बक्सर-मुगलसराय खंड पर गहमर स्टेशन के समीप शुक्रवार की सुबह दिल्ली से पटना आ रही राजधानी एक्सप्रेस के कटकर एक केबिनमैन की मौत हो गयी। घटना के बाद ट्रैक पर शव रहने के कारण डाउन ट्रैक पर ट्रेनों का परिचालन ठप हो गया। तकरीबन तीन घंटे बाद शव को ट्रैक पर से हटाया गया और उसके बाद परिचालन सामान्य हुआ। मृतक देव कुमार कुशवाहा केबिनमैन के पर पर गहमर में कार्यरत था और दिलदानगर थाना क्षेत्र के नगसरमीर राय गांव का रहने वाला था। घटना सुबह 5 : 30 की है और शव 8: 45 पर हटाया जा सका। इस दौरान परिचालन ठप रहा। रेलवे के अधिकारियों ने बताया कि केबिन मैन गेट बंद कर डाउन लाइन पार कर रहा था। इसी बीच डाउन लाइन पर राजधानी एक्सप्रेस गुजरी। जिसकी चपेट में आने से उसकी मौत हो गई। परिचालन बाधित होने के दौरान भदौरा स्टेशन पर संघमित्रा एक्सप्रेस एवं दिलदारनगर जंक्शन पर जनसाधारण एक्सप्रेस खड़ी रही।

कोलकाता : पूर्वी रेलवे ने आज कहा कि हावडा-न्यू जलपाईगुडी शताब्दी एक्सप्रेस का इंजन वर्धमान जुगराम स्टेशन के नजदीक बोगियों से अलग हो गया.
पूर्वी रेलवे के प्रवक्ता ने कहा कि शाम चार बजे बोगियों से अलग होकर इंजन 250 मीटर आगे तक चला गया लेकिन चालक उसे वापस लाया और ट्रेन से फिर से जोडा.
