Central Railway held a Pension Adalat at headquarters level for redressal of grievances of pensioners at General Manager’s Office Building at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Building on September 18. This Pension Adalat was held based on the suggestions and direction of Departmental Parliamentary Standing Committee of Ministry of Personnel Public Grievances and Pensions. Accordingly notification and advertisement were issued for the same. Headed by a committee of officers from the Personnel & Accounts Department and chaired by senior officers, grievances received from pensioners are taken up and solved in these Pension Adalats. Out of the 465 cases received, 394 cases were disposed off immediately. Central Railway also undertook a drive to clear zonal cases of grievances posted in CPENGRAMS. All 9 cases received were disposed off. | ||
