The passenger rail traffic between the northeast and the rest of the country will partially on Saturday with pains of trains but full fledges service will begin only after September 7. The main stumbling block to the resumption of the services hit by recent floods was a 60 metre stretch of racks that had been damaged between Sudhani and Delta station in Bihar. Soil underneath the tracks had been gobbled by the raging Mahananda river on August 11. With one pair of tracks being restored, the North East Frontier Railway could start the running of goods trains on the route. Earlier NFR told that the passenger trains would start the running of goods trains on the route from September 3. The trains which will run from September 2 onwards are -
