LUCKNOW: Less than half the number of examinees appeared in the examination for Railway Protection Force on Sunday. The zonal recruitment committee had organised the RPF exam. More than 60,000 candidates were supposed to appear in the exam. Railways had set up 66 centres for the examination in the city. Considering the huge turn-out of examinees, even the district administration was informed of the exam. However, only 40% examinees appeared in the exam on Sunday. "Since, the turnout was low, no extra coaches were put to clear the rush of examinees," said Alok Srivastava, PRO, NER. | ||
