Collision of a passenger train with a freight train left one dead and several others injured. The accident occurred near Kathajodi railway station in Cuttack region. Rescue operation is on, as railway officials rushed towards the accident spot. Around 6:30 PM on 29th September, just before 200 meters from Cuttack railway station a freight train was standing unmoved. 78408 - Bhubaneshwar-Bhadrak DMU rushing towards Cuttack station collided from behind the freight train. Train services between Bhubaneshwar and Cuttack are seriously affected currently. A high level investigation committee is formed to investigate this accident. | ||
